Everytime I go there there are only one or two other people in the room.

And on a side note, what exactly is the grammer rule for the above 'there there' situation? Is that proper grammer or am i suppose to put something else?

I went in there and people we either lighting farts or knighting them. I can't remember.

Do you talk mainly about fjords or fnords??

What's amazing about it is that we can talk about both, sometimes even in the same sentence!

I think it would be "Everytime I go there, there are only one or two other people in the room." But I wasn't an english major; I majored in the card game "Spades"
:D

Every time i go there ( as in over there a place) The're as in they are its a contraction hence the are after your second there is incorrect.

Mike

Nobody goes there, because nobody's there. (Except Fly's bot thingy)

It's a harsh cycle.

Its great - its like we're long lost brothers or twins. Even closer - its like he can read my thoughts and I can read his thoughts!

I think Berkley's got it. I've never seen the're before.

Flyonthewall is always there. I guess that's what a fly on the wall does. Just hangs out waitin' for something to happen.

First time I went there was fun. After that it was dead.

Sounds kinda scary...hmmm do you also hear voices?

So Fly's a bot.
That explains a lot.

*cracking up*

The're is not a word. It's either there or they're or their. So there.

*cracking up again*

Sorry. "The're" is not a word. "Everytime I go there, there are only one or two other people," is correct. You may be thinking of "they're," the contraction of "they are," or possibly "there're" which is a rather less standard contraction meaning "there are." but neither of them would be correct in context anyway.

Thank you, drive through! :)
