Perhaps so!

It's funny though I saw ginger hands at an upscale grocery for roughly two thirds more than my tiny "international" market. I also saw some wonderful looking artichokes for the first time in years though they too were about $2.00 dollars a piece. Still, when one sees something that beautiful and can afford them one must get them!

All these terrible prices might be due to the price of shipping them going up due to gas prices. *grr*

I also looked at Ginger Dressing but I'd prefer to make my own!

There were many figgy things there, tis the season to get figgy, it seems! I hear tell my 84 year old Grandmother is making me at least one jar of fig preserves from the figs on my Mother's tree!

Ok I volunteer to help with the research what ever ya need I can help. Any Female subs want to help me do research. :D Other wise I will have to do it solo and wont be as much fun. Either way I will try it on myself as soon as I can and let ya know what I think.:)

So if you've read this thread so far you know, I loved figging and still have a hand of "aged" ginger waiting for me. I can't wait to get back to. Too bad I'm so hellishly busy right now.
