The "mainstream Republicans" who were backing Jeb! and then Rubio collected enormous amounts of political intelligence on the FIVE women who were boinking Ted Cruz. They actually had a hashtag for it on Twitter #TheThing.

When Rubio cratered, they no longer needed to go after Ted Cruz, but the National Enquirer got ahold of their data (probably leaked) and published it yesterday.

Three of the five have been identified:
Carly Fiorina's deputy campaign manager Sarah Isgur Flores.
Donald Trump's ultra-nasty spokeswoman Katrina Pierson.
National Review editorial writer Amanda Carpenter.


It seems much of the turmoil at Breitbart.com was that writers had a literal shit-ton of dirt on nasty Katrina Pierson and wanted to take her down, but editor Ben Shapiro, a yuuuuge Cruz supporter, knew the Cruz-Pierson angle would come to light and refused to publish anything.

When I heard this rumor, my first thought was to wonder why Trump hadn't said anything about it, because he's not exactly shy about going on the attack, and then I went, "Oh yeah. Trump." He's not exactly in a position to get moralistic on this subject.

I don't have a position on whether or not it's true, though, because I have enough trouble believing Cruz has a wife who wants to fuck him, let alone anyone else.

Before this year, I would have agreed with you. This year, it seems that the Moral Majority demographic is more than willing to look the other way with regard to candidate failings. They've come to the realization that they need to obtain political power by any means necessary, in order to legislate their beliefs upon #ThosePeople, as Jesus commanded.
