This is getting positively gothic, folks.
The "mainstream Republicans" who were backing Jeb! and then Rubio collected enormous amounts of political intelligence on the FIVE women who were boinking Ted Cruz. They actually had a hashtag for it on Twitter #TheThing.
When Rubio cratered, they no longer needed to go after Ted Cruz, but the National Enquirer got ahold of their data (probably leaked) and published it yesterday.
Three of the five have been identified:
Carly Fiorina's deputy campaign manager Sarah Isgur Flores.
Donald Trump's ultra-nasty spokeswoman Katrina Pierson.
National Review editorial writer Amanda Carpenter.
It seems much of the turmoil at Breitbart.com was that writers had a literal shit-ton of dirt on nasty Katrina Pierson and wanted to take her down, but editor Ben Shapiro, a yuuuuge Cruz supporter, knew the Cruz-Pierson angle would come to light and refused to publish anything.
About a half dozen conservative writers now claiming "yeah, I knew but I kept my mouth shut". LINK
Katrina Pierson - Ted Cruz
Washington Post noted last July that Cruz donated a half million dollars to Carly's failing campaign. Hush money? Blackmail?
