I heard a quote once, but I font don't remember who said it originally so if you know please help me out. But the jist of it was "Two things are certain in life, sex and death, and if you knew how close you came to each of those on a daily basis it would drive you crazy."
So my idea is for this to be a place where you can share your story about a time you were so close. Maybe you didn't realize it until later, or maybe work out something else got in the way. Regardless, I'd like to hear those stories.
I'll start with one of my own. This was right after college. My neighbors were two freshmen girls. They came over one day right as I was heading out to work and asked if I wanted to go to the pool. I said I would love to but that I would have to take a rain check, because if I was late again my boss was going to fire me. They said it was a one time offer, but I thought they were just kidding. Anyway, my room mate took them up on their offer and I went to work, only to find out that night that they had taken him straight to a hot tub and proceeded to rock his world.
I should have just gotten fired.
