bombing campaign on Ireland.

His sound bite style of the IRA backing Columbian terrorists. His support of the Columbian Government against the terrorists. His lack of proof about IRA involvement. The rhetoric he's encouraging in the Senate.

It's all beginning to sound like a tired re-run of Afghanistan.

I suppose his much reported small attention span means he's bored with the Taleban and he now has his sights fixed on Sinn Fein.

But in reality I'll bet a pound to a dollar that he'll retract his statements soon, as is his habit, and then get himself gagged again by other members of his Administration.

:)

Don't you see.....

....That was the plan in the first place, Peeper! We all know the September 11 attack was executed by the Bush administration ( see RedWaves proof) to divert attention from our true goal to make Tony the next King by creating such decension in GB that we could nuke those Mick bastards into oblivion and, once again be viewed as the "saviors" of the "mother land".

King George II will annoint King Tony I, and we shall all live in peace and harmony everafter! Humm..after we nuke those bastard Palistinians.......and those asshole North Koreans, and go back and take Viet Nam as the 52nd state! Yeah, we got some "cleanin' up" to do!

You know, I think I like you, you socialist wanker :D

Well that's alright then...

As long as we know...

It always amazes me that governments fight a threat by attacking their lawful citizens, easy prey, less of a chance of the government troops getting hurt! Our politicians are tripping over their interns to pass intrusive legislation aimed at the number one supporters of terrorists...the American taxpayer! After all, we surrender the money in taxes to the threat of force (IRS and the Federal Bureau of Incineration), to be used as leverage on opposing factions in whatever global chess area you want to choose. Cameras are popping up everywhere for our "safety", cops are being given exceptional power to interpret the Bill of Rights, and they are given a godlike protector status that make their word in court beyond question.
The terrorists whoever they are have won. We have lost a good deal of our freedoms that we've enjoyed for hundreds of years. Either we get rid of the bastards turning the screws to us (in every country, not just the USA), or........?

Yes most Governments would give their eye's teeth to be in the position of Bush right now.

The terrorist threat (and I'm almost convinced a lot of the FBI warnings are no more than serving the purpose of keeping the threat in the public conscious) gives him tremendous powers to enact legislation that he wouldn't be able to under normal circumstances.

Your loss of freedoms since 11 September should be accepted on the grounds of public safety, but at the same time viewed with a jaundiced eye to make sure they don't go too far.

Uhhh, p_p_, we go after the supporters and the enablers.

First we bomb Boston, then we bomb London.

Not necessarily in that order…

Have you seen London lately.... no bomb needed.

Don't forget we're talking Bush here.

Not someone who's a normal leader...

:D

Okay, let's be fair. It's been since Reagan that the U.S. has had a consistent international policy about that kinda crap.

If you don't remember Reagan, that's who Algore was trying to immitate during the second Presidential debate.

I liked Reagan. His was a classic case of someone not being appreciated by his home crowd.

I reckon he was much underrated and his "Evil Empire" speech at Reykyavik brilliantly timed. And pre-planned.

The trouble is Bush hasn't got what Reagan had. Leadership qualities. So his "Evil Axis" speech comes out as comic rather than forceful...

I don't totally agree with you. My point is that our last two Presidents have suffered from similar lacks of clarity on foreign affairs issues.

Yeah. The speech was comical. Bin Laden and Mulla Omar still laughing...

I used to think of SInthysist as an extremist until I read more of p_p_man!

C'mon Raw, think with your head. Why do you think the last two presidents lacked clarity on foreign affairs issues? Can you see any possible reason that this was inevitable?

No one help him, I'd like to hear Raw's thoughts.

*should have KNOWN I'd have to answer to you for that comment*

Snooty little... ;)

J/K Anyway...

I'll grant you that Reagan was "helped" in the fact that the Cold War was going on so it made it easier to be focused on that issue.

We didn't have a BIG enemy during Bush 1 and Clinton years like we do now and did during the Reagan years.

I don't think you can count Iraq because they weren't a direct threat to us, except for financially.

(is this CLOSE to the correct answer, Ms. Lavy? If not, I'll go sit in the corner and stick to being humours and perverted)

:D

Has anyone considered the possibility that Bush is actually part of the Al Quaeda? They managed to infiltrate to the top and now Osama Bin Ladin is making America look foolish?

Wow. I actually agree with every word you typed in this post.

It's a shame that normally your ultra-hyperbolic ramblings stink so bad they could knock a buzzard off a shitwagon.

Maybe if you toned it down a little instead of trying to incite in every single thread (like this one) people would take you more seriously.

One can always hope.
