What say Yea?

I don't think they will (Republicans) but it might not matter that much. (Conservative Democrats)

Did you think of that?

???????????????????????????????

No opinion?

No bitching?

No harassment?

First glance at the results says no.

No.

The Dems will maintain a majority, but only by a couple of votes. That's more important in the Senate then in the House, which will be overwhelmingly Republican.

and if Conservative Democrats vote with the Republicans?

Yeah, but this is seriously split in so many funky ways. Lots of the democrats getting elected are running on a platform of opposing or at least distancing themselves from Obama or just "business as usual."

And as far as I can tell, Tea Party candidates are most likely to vote for marmalade rather than Republican issues.

It's gonna be interesting. Everyone's REALLY going to have to work for a coalition.

Yeah,

It's a whole new ballgame tonight.

Maybe this time the regular everyday people of the USA can win one.

It's possible that in that razor-thin margin, shit might get done.

Because everyone's going to have to earn their next election on a serious platform of accomplishment now.

I'm interested to see what the Stock Market does tomorrow.

Umm, I'm not exactly sure how, seeing as it's probably going to be deadlock for the next two years...

Please explain how the "regular everyday people" gain from that?

And it's about Damned time too!

I suggest they listen to the voters for once.

Hopefully they get the point.

"Stop fucking with the money."

If Republicans deliver on getting the Tea Party message of fiscal responsibility (and not the other stupid crap) it can be a very good thing.

Also since they can't actually declare war on another country, that's also good news.

The Democrats had huge majorities the last couple of years, and that state of affairs was soundly rejected by voters. Just today, in fact.

Or did you miss out on that little bit of news?

West Virginia killed their chances of controlling the Senate, which were always slim at best, but the real game was in the House, and they will win big there. I wonder what that witch Pelosi will do without that huge gavel in her hands next year? :D

I'm going to be nice and NOT say what I think about her.

I forgot that I even commented on this back in 2010.
