Just got an IM from my sister, also vocalist in our band. Apparently a major radio station has gotten hold of a demo we tossed out for public ridicule just a few days ago, and had a song on light rotation all evening. Not that we ever send it to them, so whovever did, we owe.

It's a pretty decent, but not at all professional home recording, but they didn't seem to mind. Apparently the DJ introcudes it with "A disc from some guys I've never heard of landed on my desk today. I don't know what the hell to call this, but it's pretty catchy. Anything beats repeating Gnarls Barkley for the umphteenth time, so here we go..."

That's gotta count for something.

Now, where are my groupies?
