The stuff that falls out of the sky in cold weather.

See Poll.

Snow is great in limited quantities and for a limited duration. 1 to 3 inches, lasting for 1 to 3 days, except in mountain areas where it is useful for recreational purposes.

Any snow that requires shoveling, plowing, digging, or extended melting times is too much.

Same reasons. Had 13 inches last week and melted. Woke up to shovelable snow again today. Bah

It’s beautiful when it first falls. Now, it’s -8 actual temp and the snow is an is nothing but an annoyance.

-11 here...and yea, it's all pretty and shit, then you gotta shovel it.

Worst is when it's 32ish and then it drops hard over night, freezes the car shut.

Last time I leave the beat wagon outside when the weather is shitty.

Snow is pretty to look at. However, it also means that it's cold outside. And I am no fan of cold temperatures.

The same thing happened to me the night we got the rain/sleet/snow. I had a bunch of stuff to load for a client and my sliding doors were frozen shut.

Put some Vaseline on the door seals.

A couple of years ago, the beast from the east buried the UK in snow. At one point, the track was under 3' and even people with land rovers had to wait for the farmer to clear it with a tractor, and even then my little car wasn't able to escape for several days. I walked Edward (Charles hates the cold, but Edward is impervious) in a deserted world. So beautiful. It was glorious!

But usually we get a brief flurry, followed by soggy, grey sludge for a day or two. Ew.

I liked it more when I was young enough to bike through anything. Now I don't mind seeing it, but preferably from inside a heated building.

Yup...should be riding this weekend:D:D

and bikes should be outlawed in winter

No kidding. I've been warned that all the Mennonites switch from buggies to bikes in the winter. And drive on the highway. Buggies are bad enough at night.....
Happy trails!!!! Knew you'd be pumped about the snow. :D

That's shitty.....I was just being lazy and wanted a burrito made by someone else and maybe a nice light beer to wash it down. :D

Put some Vaseline on the door seals.

That would have helped if it were lighter ice, but since I hadn't cleared the snow when it was all powder it was quite solidly frozen.

I pulled the bazzilion BTU turbo jet shop heater out pointed it at the drivers door and....
