holy crap!! i just looked outside and the snow is everywhere..lol..i'm attaching some pictures that i took with my cell phone. keep in mind that not even 4 hours ago i wen to the grocery store, and my car was not covered in snow. also i'm attaching one picture of snow that i took last night to show that the snow was almost gone. wow...it's been a long time since Indiana has seen this much snow, especially in February!! it's nuts! and the snow is still coming down.....

the first picture is the one that was taken yesterday..the other two were taken about 10 minutes ago. i'm bored, can you tell???

I'm Canadian... I mock your feeble snow! Come up here sometime and we'll show ya snow.

But I can totally sympathize with talking-about-the-weather-to-fend-off-boredom. Man, am I ever on that page.

I'm right there with ya rose.

I'd heard reports that we were getting it, and I'm about to check the weather channel because we are suposed to start getting sleet here in the nex few hours. Which is why I'm up an hour early. I'm going to attempt to drive into work, but I doubt my van will make it.

LOL, I'm pathetic. I have been waiting and waiting for snow and so when it came for a couple of hours one afternoon last week, I grabbed what I could to keep dry and warm and headed out with the tripod and cameras. Got some nice shots, but not near enough as time was my enemy. :p

great pictures cat :rose:

Snow? What is this snow you speak of? ;)

LOL..where I live if we get the lightest dusting of snow (maybe once every 10 years) everything closes down and everyone swarms to the grocery store for milk and bread. I have never understood how or why those are the two most important items to have on hand during a natural disaster. :D

LOL, I know exactly what you mean. I guess milk makes sense in the middle of winter, but what I never understood is the need to buy it when those summer hurricanes come through. (Even as far off the coast as I am, it can still get pretty rough when a big hurricane comes.) I mean, if you're worried about the power going out in July, milk just ain't the best thing to have lying around, you know what I mean? Ugh.

Hope you made it safely wenchie. :)

I did make it to work safe and sound...took twice as long tho *giggles*

And I was suposed to be off at 9, but didn't make it out until 12:30 because our 1st assistant called off and our store manager had a problem with daycare. So looks like might get friday off now. :nana: And the DM kept calling in to check on me so I earned some major brownie points with her having just me and 3 crew there and actually doing pretty steady business, especially since her salary managers weren't there. So good points towards my permotion yea! :cathappy:

No kidding, who wants perishable milk in the fridge during a natural disaster... obviously the priority supplies are industrial-size jugs of wine and bags of kettle chips. Silly people buying milk... obviously no one ever taught them to take disaster preparation seriously.

I'm looking at the pictures lsr and all I can see is fair driving conditions. Whatch'er bitch'n 'boat?

LOL far from fair driving conditions, they've issued it all over the news to stay OFF of the roads unless it's an emergency, it's not the amount of snow, it's the ICE that is layered thick on the roads. it started out as freezing rain, then went to snow, then went to a v ery wet snow, then back to freezing rain, then back to snow, etc...that is what i'm bitching about. not to mention my car is completely snowed in and it will not move and the ice is packed so badly that you can't even shovel it out. so yea, MmmHmm..that's what i'm bitchen 'bout :p

As I said, fair driving conditions. You haven't seen black or white ice.
