I actually have a snow day today! Which is good because I had tons of trouble sleeping last night.
I don't think it's the snow as much as it is the freezing rain. It's supposed to go on all day.
My poor brother. He cleared off all three cars for us before he found out.
I'll have to do something nice for him.

I haven't seen a flake all year. We used to get 3 or 4 a year. Now lucky to get one. I guess Al Bore is on to something.

We've had 2 mini snows where everything gets covered with a light blanket and is melted by noon. I miss tredging along in knee deep snow for 2 weeks out of the year. :(

We had a snow day Thursday and Friday. Now it's MLK day, and so no school, but it's supposed to snow again on Tuesday.

Actually there was no snow at the kids school, but evidently you get to 181st and it was like their was a line drawn and everyone on the other side got about 3 inches. My parking lot is still one giant ice slab.

We've had a snow weekend! I got paid for a ton of work that I didn't have to do, and I had free time to take pictures and make a new av!

The snow just started here. It's supposed to continue all night and then change to sleet/freezing rain. If it's still going on when I wake up tomorrow I might just call a snow day and be naughty.

and please no one counter with ITS NOT COLD THERE, LOOK AT THE TEMP IN SUCHANDSUCH AN AREA!

here in Portland we're just not used to freezing and below freezing conditions! and i've been sick. and it's been cold. cry.

Tell me about it. I don't even have any boots. I'm sick to death of my sneakers getting wet, and my socks getting wet and then i FREEZE. Luckily the kids have snow suits, but they don't have snow mittens, they just have those stretchy cotton ones so they keep coming in crying cause their hands are so cold.

Hey, chick, wanna come over and share some hot cocoa with me? *brr*

It was supposed to snow here, (north Texas,) last night, but it's mostly just icy. I did get to glide to class this morning, though. :)

in my schools when i was younger, we didn't really have snow days for the snow, but for the fact that the pipes in the school were frozen because they were so old. it might be the same thing here.

i didn't see any snow stick at my place (tabor area) but i saw cars with snow on them driving around...

I've got plenty of that. We should invite Kierie, too. lol

Yeah, sorta. Found a smaller cheaper place for the moment.

cheaper can be better, as long as the commute doesn't kill family members.

That'd be almost too much fun. A fire place, hot tea . . .

almost as fun as cookies, and less likely to frustrate the phlegm in my system ;)

I hear that. My oldest is getting kinda croupy, and I just realized I don't know where all the pieces to her nebulizer are. Guess I gotta make a trip to the store tomorrow. *grr*

I made today a snow day. Because one of the monsters at work gave me a cold.

It's god's judgement on you for being so hot.

Since He's the one responsible, should He be the one sneezin' and coughin' and stuff?
