Well today had a bit of humor.

We had a new bunch of Students hoping to become R.N.'s show up on our floor. They have been well trained and might be ready to work with patients. They have oh so many things running around in their heads. With some of them is the concept that C.N.A.'s are lower than low. (Oops)

One of the students seemingly decided that she was owed a free lunch from those beneath her contempt. She raided my cooler of the chicken wings I had in there. Oh it was too damned funny, even though I did have to buy me a lunch. There she sat in the breakroom chowing down on the chicken wings with her face turning red and sweat rolling off her.

Maybe someone should have warned her about my penchant for somewhat spicy food?

The Chicken wings had been marinated in a mix of Chiptole and Ancho Chili's as well as Garlic, Onion and just a hint of Cilantro before being slow grilled.

Somehow I don't think she's going near my cooler again.

She raided your cooler?!? Are you sure she didn't think it was for everyone--as some folk think food in the frige is--and just made a bad mistake...? It's just so outrageously rude.

If you think that was funny, just wait until she mounts the Porcelain Throne.

Do the term red-ass ring a bell? :D

LOL

I'm sure that tomorrow she will be wishing she hadn't raided my cooler.

Please tell me you left her the recipe somewhere. ;)

Now why would I include the recipe in my lunch?

I did ask her afterwards if she wanted to know how I make my Hot Sauce. She declined for some reason.

lol, of that so serves her right. :D You do not raid other peoples lunches. And they should do the CNA job for awhile...before they go turning up their noses.

My friends nursing school made them be a CNA for 4 weeks so they could get an idea of the work that was put in by all of us lowly CNAs. She had a great respect for my job after that.

I have suggested tht a couple of times to their instructors but the idea keeps getting nixed. I used to wonder why then I heard that it was the older R.N.'s who have been R.N.'s since the beginning who are against it. It seems they don't believe it is needed in the education of the next batches. (It might give them ideas?)
