Got given this link by a friend (his nickname is Tubby Dave, hence why he gave it to me) and read some of the posts.

"Mr Lange says he has no problem with the speech as it entrenches New Zealand's anti-nuclear position. He says it is strange that the ambassador expects New Zealand to be a lackey after just completing an unsuccessful and calamitous invasion of Iraq."

Which is odd, because I could have sworn I saw the swiftest and cleanest military victory in history. Man, those special effects boys at FOX News must be really good, they had me fooled!

After this follows lots of ridiculing about how anyone could be stupid enough not to think that this was a fantastically planned and ordered invasion and that any suggestion of lack of forethought was ridiculous.

Hindsight's a wonderful thing, isn't it?

It's what came after it that's such an intractable fucking mess.
