Per her, most the kids use snap chat and Instagram exclusively.

It seems the next generation will soon be making fun of me for using Facebook the same way I made fun of people who used MySpace.....

Not quite. That part has already begun. The memetic value of what social media you use increases exponentially as time goes on depending entirely on what your demographic is.

e.g. black people using KiK, old white people using Facebook, idiot teenagers using Twitter, sluts using snapchat, school shooters/atheists using 4chan, etc.

Don't much see the point in it. I don't know a lot about it but from what I undestand it's really only good for sending nudes that you don't want to be saved and even that has proven to be hackable. Otherwise why not just use the regular messenger on the phone?

Not even hackable, any idiot with a screen recorder can snap pictures of whatever you send. SC tells the sender when their picture/video has been screenshotted through the phone's built in screenshot device, but it's not capable of doing so when 3rd party apps are used.
