Okay so I have mentioned before how I make soup stock. It takes a while but oh man is it good.
In my freezer I have multiple containers of the soup stock. Some are one quart and some are one cup.
I also have packages of single servings of cooked ground beef. (Not quitre enough to make a hamburger patty.)
This evening I was hungry but didn't want to get too involved in cooking. It was late after all.
Out of the freezer came a one cup serving of the Stock and one of the packages of beef. These were defrosted in the microwave before being dropped in a smallish pot. To this was added another cup of water and the whole thing was heated.
As the stock and meat were heating I chopped some Green Onion and broke out a package of Ramen Noodle Soup. (The Seasoning mix was dropped in a drawer for use later.)
When the stock was hot I added the noodles and let them cook for two minutes. Then I added the green onions.
By three minutes it was ready and I poured the whole thing off into a rather large bowl.
Talk about tasty.
