Please rank these terms from best to worst in the parentheses after “Rank.” If any of these terms are jarring or offensive to you, please note that in the parentheses after “Emotions.” Optionally, if they evoke any other emotions, please note them. Finally, at the bottom, please propose any alternate terms you’d propose in the parentheses after “Write-In Candidates.”

Breasts Rank () Emotions ()
Bust Rank () Emotions ()
Bosom Rank () Emotions ()
Boobs Rank () Emotions ()
Knockers Rank () Emotions ()
Tits Rank () Emotions ()
Write-In Candidates ()

Example filled-out survey (not my real opinion):

Breasts Rank (5) Emotions (Suicidal)
Bust Rank (6) Emotions (Sexy)
Bosom Rank (1) Emotions (Ennui)
Boobs Rank (3) Emotions (Jarring)
Knockers Rank (4) Emotions (Offensive)
Tits Rank (2) Emotions (Glee)
Write-In Candidates (whompers, cans, bazookas, charlies, jugs)

What's the point exactly?

Now that's a good question. ;)

As a writer I use Tits and Breasts. I rarely use any of the other euphemisms for them.

As a reader I don't particularly care what you call them, just don't, ever, tell me how big they are. That's a click back for sure.

This is a really pointless exercise. I've used almost all those words, but the context is important. Are they words that women use to describe themselves, or word that men use to describe women? Is it in a first intimacy, or a more familiar one? Is it a word common in that culture?

It's like ranking condiments. There's a purpose for each of them, and they usually can't be substituted for each other. Their distinctive flavor is what makes them appropriate for the dish, not their frequency of use.

I endorse this view!

I rank them all equally and vote to use any of them anytime I feel that particular term applies

But I am going at ad a personal favorite-although its not erotic.

Dirty pillows...geek points for people who know where that term came from.

I write in FP.

Part of the fun of that is that you can deepen the narrator's characterization through the slang terms you use. So, they all work; it's just a question of what I'm trying to accomplish with the choice of words.

"Knockers" makes me snicker because adulthood is just middle school with more booze and sex.

I agree with the posters that use various words and phrases to elicit reactions from the reader. As I recall I have used:

Breasts,
Tits,
Titties,
Juggs,
Fun Pillows,
Fun Bags,
Mammaries (usually "Magnficent Mammaries")
Milk Bars,
Mouth Toys,
and
Boobs

There may be more, but those are ones I can recall using.

James
