The church is one step closer to paying the price for decades of silence and cover up. And to think, they want to make John Paul a saint.......
One very interesting tidbit from the piece: Irish tax payers have been paying the settlements to Irish abuse victims, not the church.
Irish taxpayers, rather than the church, have paid most of the euro1.5 billion ($2 billion) to more than 14,000 abuse claimants dating back to the 1940s.
To quote a line from a Dan Brown book: It's time to bring this church of lies to it's knees.
