I prefer menthol cigarettes and a specific brand at that, however, when push comes to shove I'll smoke just about any brand handy to level out.

Smoking is such a fucking nasty irritating expensive unhealthy habit. Why WHY do I do it? I ask myself this continuously but the answer is always... "because I love it." Fucking 'baccer companies hooking me on this shit! lol

I am with you TN, I smoke a specific menthol cig. I try to keep a couple of packs in my purse and keep a carton at home and in my car, so I rarely run out of my own, but when I do I will smoke whatever is around to get the fix.

I like reds in a soft pack, but when I smoke I haev been known to smoke B+H extras, and if I'M not buying... the only 'commoner' cigarette I smoke Peter Jackson Extra's or Supers.

It has been 14 years since I quit. (Still the hardest thing that I've ever done.) And I still like the smell of burning tobacco, but I HATE it on someone's clothes, or breath, or especally in thier car after it has been closed up in the sun all day. YEAUCH!

Oh and to answer the question:

When I did smoke, it was 2-3 packs of Camel shorts per day. When I ran out, I would toke on anything, tearing the filters off any that had them, except menthol which were awful unfiltered.

Sometimes if I was drinking, menthols were good, sort of like candy for desert.

Well, I smoked Camel Straights in high school... then Marlboro Reds, then Mediums, then Lights, then Ultra Lights, and now Winston S2's or Evos.

If I'm desperate, I'll smoke what ever anyone has that I can bum. I was smoking a friend's generic menthol ultra lights the other day, that's pretty fuckin desperate.

I will only smoke my brand... I'm a Merit Menthol smoker. Regulars make me ill.

I have been known to bum a Marlboro Light from my ex husbands wife when I'm completly out and I'm not near a store that carries my brand (it's not a common one.. only two store in our county carry them).
