exsmoker here. quit when I was about 20. Can't stand to be around smoke now.

Quit for three years once, a friend had a baby, I had a cigar, and have been trying to quit ever since.

On Zyban now, and am down to 3-5 cigs a day.

Officially an ex-smoker. Did it for about 2 months in high school.

However, if I use a cigar now and then am I a smoker? :D

Smoke,Smoke,Smoke that cigarette!

Yes I smoke.

About a 2 pack a day habit.

Lets see,$6.00 a day,times 7=$42.00 a week.

I'm trying to talk the ol'lady into quitting with me.Because I think we would have better luck at quitting together.

What do you think?

Never smoked....cigarettes or anything else for that matter. I never really got into it. Besides, my body is my temple. LOL

I'm an exsmoker/smoker...I quit for 3 or 4 months, on special ocassions (recently the holidays) I start smoking again. Then I just put them down.

When I was smoking (yes I'm an exsmoker 20+ years now and still have the urge now and then) I quit once while dating a smoker. Big mistake. Everytime we kissed I felt like lighting up. Was smoking again in no time. quit again about five years later. Can't stand th smell of the damn things and they make me sneeze but every once in a while... damn I could light up again. Stick to your guns man, get her to quit to or it's gonna be just that much harder on you if you do quit.

Smoked for 10 years...

Then quit cold turkey when I became pregnant. The first night I felt up to going out after having my son, I got rip roaring drunk and smoked about two packs. lol Then I more or less quit again until Nov. of this year. But, I haven't smoked that much, only when stressed, etc. :)

Non-smoker here. Studmuffin smokes. He's recently decided that he could do it in the house. His reasoning, it's his house and I knew he smoked before I married him. My reasoning is that if he smokes in the house, I leave. Since he's a pack a day smoker, I might as well move out and call a lawyer.

It sounds petty, but yes, I would divorce his ass over his smoking.

I quit smoking 72 hours ago. So far I haven't killed anyone yet.

Maimed a few people, but no one's dead yet.

Non-smoker, married to 2 pack a day smoker. I end up buying cig's three, four times a week and I don't smoke!!!! We did agree to no smoking in the bedroom so I have one room without ashtrays all around, but after sex, she always disappears to the living room for a smoke.

Smoker but never around snickerdoodle she has asthma why should i make it even worse!! And no i did not smoke when i was pregnant!

I've never smoked. Never even had one between my lips. I hate the stink and event he slippery feel of a cigarette.

And, get this sports fans -- I've never even smoked pot. Woo-hoo.

I quit cold-turkey, two and a half years ago. I live in fear everyday of starting again. Stress is the biggest inducement. My wife still smokes and, even though I wish she didn't, it doesn't bother me a bit. The strangest thing is, she totally quit during her pregnancy with both our sons.

Ex-smoker, but still feel the urge to light one up,especially on really stressful days. I quit cold turkey 15 years ago the day my toddler walked out of the kitchen with a cigarette in his mouth & a lighter in his hand.

Started out as a nonsmoker, began smoking at a very early age, quit smoking when I was pregnant for my daughter (approx. 14 months), restarted, quit when I had my son (about 17 months), restarted again and have been hooked ever since. Have tried several different solutions to quit, i.e. the patch, cold turkey, etc. but psychologically I am not ready to quit this 3pack a day addiction.

Nonsmoker.
Though I'm thinking of taking up smoking, drinking and whoring to fit in with the people at my job.

Ex-smoker almost a year. Still miss them very much, especially in the car or at the computer.

I quit smoking almost two weeks now. I was going to do the patch but decided I was too cheap. I have not cheated but I am getting sick of all the crap I am coughing up!
