the plain temperature is -45Celcius but there is 70 mile per hour winds to add to that to figure out what the windchill temperature is

so can someone do the math and explain how they do it so I can learn.

thanks

Well, we all know, Todd, that at 0 degrees, there is no temperature, and that if it is -45C, you owe temperature, very much like an overdrawn back account.

You're welcome.

Not sure exactly how cold it is but with that high of a wind unexposed skin would probably get frostbite within minutes.

That is assuming you can stand up in a 70 mph wind.

i don't go out in it, and sometimes, the trees don't like standing up to it.

Here is a table and it doesn't even go as low as -45 C.

Not only that, but if I remember correctly, 70 mph is roughly the speed of an F1 tornado.

That makes much more sense. I've been in 50 mph winds and that did an unbelieveable amount of damage.

Still, that's a pretty brisk breeze, I would estimate around -55 to -60.

100 KMH is the same as 65 or so MPH.

Um, if your numbers are right, that gives a windchill factor of -132°F or -91°C. Don't fucking go out, dude.

Where the hell do you live? Pluto?
