Hooked by the promo and Dennis Quaid, whom I appreciate even more after, "Vantage Point", another recent film, and my daughters' (insert apostrophe where appropriate) favorite, Sarah Jessica Parker.

Beginning this little piece as the film develops, it moves well, with time permitted to enjoy the Directors artwork, scenery and such and the music, mostly acoustic guitar with pop overtones, is fitting.

Quirky, well, for me, plot-line, but interest holding and amusing at times.

Had to visit IMDB, to discover the actress playing the daughter, Vanessa, a name I am not familiar with: Ellen Page; who gives a spirited and inspired performance.

Midpoint in the film, a 'frisson' of delight courses through me as the possibilities for plot development widens.

Uh oh, line, "middle aged man, can't get along with women, should be gay." Oh, my.

Ah, damn, it coulda gone on for another hour at least!

Amicus...(I know, since when did I become a film critic?) Shaddup...
