Smallville: Redux OOC

Smallville: Redux is an alternative take to that of the show Smallville.
Instead of Kal-El being sent to Earth alone, his sister Kara-EL was also
sent. Both were mere babies while rocketing through space, chunks of their
home planet following their ships as they shuttled towards a distant world.
Life in Smallville was about to change. As the people went about their daily
routines, their little world would be shaken as the meteor fragments rained
down on their town, causing destruction and mayhem everywhere.

Driving home in their new truck, Jonathan and Martha Kent veered off the
road in order to avoid a collision with one of the falling rocks. As they
struggled to catch their breath, having panicked from the sudden events,
their eyes watched as one of the mysterious meteors created an extensive but
destructive path in the ground. Getting out of the truck, the Kent's ran
over to the part where the meteor had finally stopped. Amidst the smoking
ruins, they discovered something
far more startling... a ship.

Metahuman Physical Abilities: Clark's cellular structure is more dense, resiliant and biologically more effective than human tissue. Clark has manifested a wide range of metahuman abilities, he can move at superhuman speeds, has an incredible reaction time and superhuman reflexes to match, lift incredible weights, is almost invulnerable to conventional injury, possesses superhuman sensory and powerful energy projection capabilities.

* Super Strength: He can lift incredible weights and objects The upper limit to his physical strength is not known (100 tons).
* Invulnerability: Clark's invulnerability has also increased with his age. He is nearly invulnerable to weapons used by humans in warfare. He can operate for periods of up to 30 minutes without air. Extremes of heat and cold have little effect on him.
* Super Speed: Clark is capable of enhanced reflex action and the ability to move at incredible speeds by sheer force of will. He can reach a velocity well above the speed of sound. He can match most other speedsters in their ability to perform superfast movements, reactions, and processes. He can use this power to disarm opponents without heightened reflexes, catch bullets or shrapnel or cross vast distances in seconds.
* X-Ray Vision: He can see through any solid object except for lead. It may appear as a bluish skeletal image similar to the ones seen on hospital x-rays, or it may be a full color image.
* Heat Vision: This power first manifested when he was 15, and was initially connected to his sex drive. His heat vision has the ability to reach temperatures of 11,000 degrees F, sufficient to melt steel in seconds.
* Super Hearing: He can also hear in a range equal to that of the best natural or man-made sensors. His hearing is so acute and precise he can detect a whisper at 500 yards.
* Super Breath: At age 13, While cleaning out the barn Clark inhaled so much dust that he when he sneezed he blew the barn door off it's hinges.
* Flight: Unlike his sister, Clark has yet shown that he has the ability to fly. However, he can jump very high and make flying leaps. However since up until now he and his sister have demonstrated to possess the same abilities, it may just be that Clark has yet to develop this ability.
* Flight: Clark has recently begun to fly. Although he hasn't timed himself he thinks he has been able to at least go beyond twice the speed of sound. His control over his flight is constantly improving

Metahuman Mental Abilities: Clark also has precognitive dreams, and hears a high-pitched whining sound when Kryptonian technology is near enough to call to him.
Special Limitations: Clark is vulnerable to Kryptonite, radioactive remnants of his home planet, Krypton. The known variations of Kryptonite affect him in different ways. Fortunately, Clark can protect himself from Kryptonite radiation using lead, and removal of the substance reverses the effects.
* Green Kryptonite renders Kryptonians physically weak and painfully ill.
* Red Kryptonite makes Kryptonians lose their inhibitions and social conscience. The effects strengthen over long periods of exposure. Under the influence of Red K.
* Black Kryptonite.
* Silver Kryptonite makes Kryptonians dangerously paranoid and suspicious. Silver Kryptonite seems to take a toll on their bodies after a time.

Strangely enough, they do not seem to possess superhuman strength levels despite their enhanced cellular ability. Without constant exposure to solar energy, their strength seems on par for a human of their height and weight.

Magic: It seems that Kryptonians are permeabile to certain wavelengths making them vulnerable to certain radiations, particularly magical energies whose chaotic electromagnetic or extradimensional signatures. A Kryptonian's vulnerability to magic varies on the special effects of the magic. No magic seems to be able to directly destroy them unless it comes from a semi-divine or divine source. They can be injured and worn down by magical entities. Magic can have powerful and unpredictable effects on them.

High Energy Attacks or Radiation: High energy radiations of a particular wavelength can also cause injury, hence the reason they can be harmed by high energy weapons such as blasters, lasers and plasma weapons. Kinetic kill weapons with sufficient force can also cause damage.

Rachel possess a small red jewel in the middle of her forehead known as a Chakra. The Chakra helps her to control the darker passions of her soul-self. But it only comes out when she is threatened and is in danger. Otherwise it is never seen.

Rachel has a wide range of powers which appear to be rooted in the supernatural.

Telekinesis: Rachel demonstrates this power most often, levitating boxes, buses, and other inanimate objects into the battle, encased in her dark, mystical energy. She has, on several occasions, demonstrated that she can use her telekinesis on human beings.

Magic: Rachel demonstrates on several occasions her ability to use magic.

Levitation: Apparently, Rachel cannot fly. Instead, she uses her telekinesis to lift her body so that she may float off the ground.

1. Smallville for now, still thinking about actually putting metropolis back where it belongns. But will listen to my players ideas on that one.

2. I guess the first 4 years, with some changes might be in order since they'll be 18. But again was going to wait until we had a core group together so we can make some of these choices together.

Well i've decided that we'll be starting at the beginning of Season 4 of Smallville. I'm currently working on the first post which will basicly be a summary of how our reality's seaon 3 ended. It's still in many ways the same just making some changes to account for Kara being there in this universe.

Hopefully by the time I finish it we'll have a Kara, and maybe a few more.

Powers: A trained martial artist and gymnast. She also has a cybernetic implant in her throat allowing her a sonic scream.

History: The Society had been shattered. Shiera killed, and the authorities began rounding up the rest. Dinah, and Charles Mc Nidder had fled together. The good doctor had fled with her due to her pregnancy.

Dinah II was born and raised for the first monthes of her life on the run. Her mother was the next of the fugitives to be caught leaving young Dinah in Dr. Mc Nider's care. The doctor saw to her self defense lessons and raised her to be as normal as possible. They moved frequently and during one such move through the Ozark mountains the accident happened. The truck went off the road and young Dinah was severely injured. Her throat was nearly crushed in the accident.

Mc Nider managed to save her by creating the artificial voice box and surgically implanting it. Unfortunately for the two this sort of proccess can't be done quietly. The last of the Society was apprehended and the girl was placed into the federal system and fostered to the Douglas family in the small town of Smallville Kansas.

Dinah Lance has kept her word and always will about keeping her past to herself. She does hold resentment against her mother for the life she'd made Dinah have to live through.

At Smallville high she's on the varsity gymnastics team as well as the softball team.
