I've entered a sociological experiment being conducted by Columbia and Ohio State Universities. Basically it is an experiment trying to prove or disprove Stanley Milgram's "Six Degrees of Seperation" Theory that holds that anyone on the planet is connected by a chain of only six other people.
I've registered to take part in this research experiment and my assigned "target" is a "writer" in New York city. So I'm looking for other writers and authors in the NY area that might be interested in helping "track down" the "target" person.
As far as I can determine, this is simply a fun exercise and is done entirely by e-mail and every one's privacy is protected to the maximum extent possible.
