Small Town Girl

I come from a small town (SublimeChat) where everyone is friendly and welcoming of new folks. One of my friends there told me about Literotica and said, "You need to check this out!"

However, I feel like I'm in the BIG city trying to meet people, but no one seems to notice the little hick from out of town.

I know there are nice people here - I read the threads. Where are you? I would love to meet some (all) of you.

SpiceCake- I think many have felt how you do right now. When I first came here, I just jumped right in, posting wherever. I felt kind of left out, but eventually people started to notice me and I've made friends here. Just be yourself and you'll find before you know it that you have frineds here. It might take a little time, but there are so many people at Lit now that you are bound to find those you click with.

If there are people whose posts you particulalry like, post a response to them in a thread- you'll find that most people here can be friendly if you are too.

There are many ways to fit in here...just dont let it get you down if people 'skip' over your posts to reply to other well known people here. It happens all the time and can be disheartening...but they arent being rude. Find your niche, people you like and post your thoughts.

your a newbie and newbie retention rate is about 5% (a guess of course) so sometimes people figure you you be hanging out too long. Let us get to know you and prepare to be shocked.
