A middle-age single dad, divorced, has two college-age sons living with him. Meets a woman of about his age and they date. Dates are mostly platonic - he's not a very studly dude, and she just enjoys his company. She still gets sex occasionally elsewhere.

One summer day, perhaps poolside, one of the boys catches her fancy and she sleeps with him. Then the brother gets a piece. They agree to maneuver Dad towards a marriage proposal.

He makes her his wife, and she spends days and nights slipping up and down the halls going from bedroom to bedroom.

Each boy has friends, too, who get in on the act.

Dad never does figure out why his wife is so happy.

You need to give her a reason to marry him. Financial security would be the obvious choice. Or maybe she is an immigrant and needs a way to stay in the country. Or she just wants easier access to the boys.

The boys get caught in the story and what happens to them afterward is the interest to me plus an explanation of the marriage. It could be very interesting.

The sons' pitch could make a big difference there, just need to juggle between being too little encouragement and too much over-the-top encouragement. Dad's cluelessness gives you more flexibility in finding that sweet spot, tho'.
