From @Brandnewbuddy's thread Hot Girl Summer, I've taken just the 'slut era' idea.
What circumstances bring 2 to 4 women together and decide that they are going to throw caution to the wind and get all the male attention they can get? In porn (and on Lit, I'm sure), it would be four (step)moms who trade their sons. To sort of keep it under one roof.
Maybe a group of divorcees, male and female, (maybe in a support group) who decide that before settling down again they are going to sow some wild oats.

What circumstances would entice you to begin your slut era? I did a 750 story about a wife whose husband cheated, and rather than divorce him, decided that he had opened their marriage and acted accordingly.

I see it as saying goodbye to the old life before moving on to the next phase.

1. A group of seniors graduate so they have one last trip to the beach or wherever. And for a week or so experience life before moving on to college or their careers.

2. The first woman in a group of friends gets engaged and the others are dating or approaching engagement. So one last trip as technical singles.

3. The last of a group retires, so they decide while they can to have some experiences they denied themselves by doing what was expected.

4. A woman in a group sends her last kid off to college and is both sad and happy about it. To celebrate they decide to go to their first Spring Break in decades and forget they're moms with responsibilities.

I am not South Asian in origin or extraction, but I've read journalistic accounts of Indian women having a sort of decadent period after finishing as much schooling as they're going to get, and before marrying and being monogamous for the rest of her life.

This is where my mind was going, except several moms who know each other through their kids friendships. Kids go off to school, moms are divorcee's, not looking forward to the dating game, yet yearning for passion in their lives.

Four or five middle-aged women, all empty-nesters or widows, cruise the college bars looking for young dick. Of course they are nobody's first pick, but when closing time comes around, no drunk horny student is going to turn up their nose at them. The next day, they get together at IHOP to share their stories.

Am I wrong in thinking that divorces sometimes come in statistical clusters as well?

Telling your friend that her marriage isn't working gets other people thinking about how there's is a sneeze away from being just as bad...
