So I worked a long shift yesterday and was exhausted. Luckily I get half the day off (yay!) and now that I've had my morning coffee I'm not as tired.

What helps you get up in the morning?;)
 
I always wake up, regardless of the amount of sleep, with energy and ready to enjoy the world. I sing in the shower and drive non-morning people nuts.

I work Nights, I get up just so I dont sleep in all day and feel like I wasted the Day away

I am a classic, walking, talking real-life example of the old adage... "the older I get, the better I used to be."

My ancient memories tell me that in my younger days I used to wake up and jump out of bed, raring to go.

These days, it's stumble-fumble-mumble to the coffee pot, and then a slow, caffeine-driven climb to consciousness each morning.

I used to be like that-but yesterday really drained me. I love singing in the shower, obnoxiously loud to annoy my neighbors. ;)
 
I just like to get up, can't sleep any more after I first wake. I often stay up very late, but I'm always interested in the next new day.

Nice that you have 1/2 day off, what will do with it?
 
Sleeping bugs the heck out of me, so guess my mass collection of books and dvds helps me more than anything.
