Thank you. Your positive words are a balm to my insecurities. That story has been inside me for years and took months to get out (including all three parts). I do have others I have worked on over the years ready to be submitted and others I am still crafting. It just took a lot of willpower to get past my anxiety and actually submit it here. Now that my Lit virginity has been deflowered, I plan to get more out there.

I have a short 5k word Christmas morning story I have worked on since before Thanksgiving that I just submitted as well, though it looks like it probably won't make it's way out of the Pending queue until the new year. It doesn't have the quite the same slow-burn build-up as Margaret's New Muse, but neither are they fucking in the first 100 words. It's just that the MC's heretofore unknown kink gets discovered/ignited and things progress accordingly.

My original plan was to have a sequel in which he crosses paths with the characters in my Age of Ares series, and set up a discovery to lead into my Aliens Horny Invasion series, but I got a few negative comments on the length and quality of my characters so I decided against it.
