slip inside with me
breathe my dreams
hold my blush

slip inside with me
touch my life
caress my need

slip inside with me
tease my skin
live my death

very nice

Very good Perky,
the attachment adds to it, gfives it that little extra.
Made me want to be there, watching you,
ty for posting

the invitation is nice

perky--

I like the simplicity of the construction, wonderfully sensual, romantic, subtle. Often more is said with less. Like the refrain.

I like the soft side of you.

Peace,

daughter

Yes, that's the perfect comment on a great poem.

Soft perky touch, delicate words caressing our minds.

Thanks for sharing perks. And great job on the drawing too. Shame that first exhibition didn't turn out, but I guess that just means you will have more material for when it does come together :)

(And with that soft perky touch thought, I think I might go to bed. ;-) )

Perky, you inspire

I enjoyed reading your poem and seeing the accompanying image.
Here is two combined.
Attempts to send images to Lit as well as audio has not been successful for me so I submit this here. My hand writing was damage by the discovery of word processing in the late 1980's.

SP, you rock!

I love the roughness of the sketch and the handwriting. Really wonderful, SP. More, more, more...

I have a lot of fun doing this. A lot of it is really just manipulation with the pc but there are real pencil marks here too. Actually writing on the drawing is a bold step for me.
Enjoy, advise.

Bravo, SP!

Shame such work can't be better displayed here... perhaps elsewhere? Do you do the art and scan it in, or is it done on the computer?

thanks hp

Both of the drawings in this thread are hand sketches on paper. Text was added then scanned.
I try to keep the software manipulation to a minimum. I used a charcoal pencil, a Bic round stick medium pen and a Quill # 2 pencil.;)
Most fun of all was blurring the charcoal images with my fingertips. Tolit5 was AutoBalanced in Windows Photo Editor then made into negative.
The actual drawing is on a 7"x7" piece of paper.
Thanks for your interest.
