Stupid premise? Sure. Mediocre acting? Yep!

Did I like it? I actually enjoyed it a lot, so fuck off.

I refused to watch it on the basis that Grimm made me watch a few episodes and I'm not falling for that twice.

Why is it that awkward, ugly people must be prettied up and made hot?

Did you like Grimm? What other stuff do you like, so I can see if I should watch.

I refused to watch "Buffy" because I thought it was going to be crap and exploiting the awesome movie and I didn't get it was by the same guy so I was dumb.

Everything in the commercials for this show just makes it look like a weak attempt to cash in on the trend that spawned Once Upon a Time and Grimm. I predict it will not last the season.

I watch sports alone in my man cave unless I do not feel like sitting alone. Then I watch whatever my wife or daughter have on TV.... Which is typically dance shows and Disney. I did not watch Buffy or Grimm. I did watch supernatural. I tend to love horrible movies, being a mystery science theater junky. I would say this is pretty close to supernatural.

In one episode Sleepy Hollow brought in witchcraft, biblical references,The four horsemen, and immortals. How can you top that? When the headless horse man traded in his broad axe for a AR-15 they almost lost me.

I'd say give it a go.

You had me at Supernatural. Okay, I'll give it a shot.

Great cast. Always happy to see a lot of these guys. John Cho! Yeah!

Also, they don't abuse their horses on screen, and the headless dude can ride.

I love On Demand.

I'll watch about three episodes, then decide. As of now, no hot chicks to keep me interested.

Are you kidding...that cop is hot as a pistol, and Ichabods wife... nice rack.

I don't watch a lot of TV and always see ads for stuff like this and wish I had seen a bit of it.

Well, I saw it last night and it will become part of my Monday nights for a while

It's pretty good. It's smart and they don't do the "tons of exposition to dramatically over explain something a fourth grader should have picked up upon." There's actual subtext and characterization.

It's head and shoulders over Grimm, which is granted, a low bar.

Nice try at humor, nice try at smart, and I think the performances are pretty good. A lot of pilots overdramatize and overemphasize the characters instead of letting them tell their story in good time.

I'm lookin' for a good time. I'll watch and even actually turn my head to the screen occasionally and genuinely watch instead of just listen, like I do to most stuff.

The fact they killed three of the best four actors on the first episode worries me.

^^ This. The wife is smoking and the partner is very fuckable....

Did it bother you when the Headless horse traded in his battle ax for a Ar-15?

The horse isn't headless...it has red eyes...the guy riding it is headless...and yes, it bothered me, I didn't like where he suddenly learned to shoot

That was part of setting a tone. Hey you! I love you! Oh...uh...okay.

If Ichabod can catch onto Starbucks and make a joke in 14 seconds, the Horseman probably understands the tools of war in an inherent sense. As long as he handles it properly instead of looking like some actor thug who wants to hold it sideways 'cause it looks cooler, I'm good.

They're essentially duplicating the weapon-savvy beauty of the "Sleepy Hollow" actor who did all that great weapon work in the 90s, in X-Men and as Darth Maul. Ray Park. I could watch that guy kill people all day in sharp choreographed grace and his own special style.

He's a Biblical badass, you think he couldn't have gotten hooked up with some infernal Matrix knowledge?

It's magic. A wizard did it!

The best part of the new show was Hodgins stating he was DVRing the show during the episody of Bones.

Yay! I did love Bones for years, but I lost interest. I can't forgive them for what they did to Zack. They tried to take it back and they knew they done wrong, but I don't forgive easily.

Old as I am, I'll stick with Johnny, he be good :cathappy:

Washington Irving's tale of Ichabod Crane and the Headless Horseman gets a few new twists in a screen adaptation directed by Tim Burton. In this version, Ichabod (Johnny Depp) is a New York City detective whose unorthodox techniques and penchant for gadgets make him unpopular with is colleagues. He is sent to the remote town of Sleepy Hollow to investigate a series of bizarre murders, in which a number of people have been found dead in the woods, ......

It's really a great movie. Ray Park and Miranda Richardson are my favorites in that one. "What a goose!"

But Christina and Johnny did okay.
