The more challenging story idea thread than Insomnia...

But how about Wife is so used to Hubby awaking way early in the morning and her lover sneaking into her bed* that when hubby comes back to bed after having the infamous "glass of water" that she rolls across his body and starts having sex with him, which startles him, because they haven't had wake up sex in decades.

His line: "Wait! This isn't Saturday night!" **

* obvious choice is an incest lover, most likely the son, but might also be the au pair, the live-in butler; the neighbour who has learned just when to jog past and sneak in the French doors from the master suite to the pool deck...or, hey, the pool boy.

** instantly making the wife a bit less unsympathetic for the cheating?

yeah, I knew that this idea was too unbelievable...

"Sleeping in" implies that hubby Hank does NOT awaken early, but is hungover and lethargic every weekend morning, barely rising before noon. This gives wifey Wanda the opportunity to sneak next door to the studly neighbor Ned's bed, sharing sex with Ned's mate(s) Matilda and/or Mike.

The obvious spin here has Hank arriving home not quite so shit-faced once, and thus not "sleeping in" that morning. He notices Wanda's absence and searches for her, first in their backyard, then through the open gate in the fence between Hank and Ned's properties. Through an undraped bedroom window, Hank spies Wanda engaged with one or more bodies. How does he react?

In a comic scenario, Hank DOES normally arise early for his "glass of water" when actually he's sneaking next door to do Matilda, at the same time Ned sneaks over to do Wanda -- an unspoken tradition. The spin: Naked Hank encounters nude Ned in a morning sneak-over. They find each other attractive. They're 69ing in a porch lounge while Wanda, Matilda, and Mike wonder where their sneaky fuckers are.

In a fantasy scenario, Hank and Wanda both "sleep in" and the tentacle monster under their en-suite shower emerges to prod both to orgasms.

The problem is that you are treating "sleeping in" as an intransitive verb. Add an object and make it a transitive verb, so you get something more like "Sleeping in Ethel" or "Sleeping in Matilda."

my inspiration was a contrast to my more usual insomina. I think I would write an insomnia tale first, then the "sleeping in" story as a sequel...
