For the past week I can't seemed to get sleep. I always been a night owl but now I don't find sleep until 10am to 1pm. Sometimes not all. And I be tired. But just can't seem to find sleep. Fuck imma do?

Imma be in your situation tomorrow.

It's worth money to me to drag my ass outta bed early and be in a particular 30ish 20 miles west by like 5:30ish.

I lounged around all day and now I can't get to sleep.

It'll help your situation if you get yourself on a schedule of some sort doesn't matter what the schedule is but most people do better when they sleep nights and are woke days.

if you have a Sleepless period It's always better to just stay awake until the next time you were supposed to be asleep otherwise you just never quite get back on schedule.

obviously avoid stimulants is a good idea you also don't want to get dependent on taking sleep aids or anything that makes you sleepy of alcohol or whatever.

there was actually a pretty good threat about this over in the how to section. Some good ideas in it

Get sun on your skin in the morning, it will help reset your clock.
I do about 15 mins but most people need more like 30 mins.

I don't know anything about that but it makes sense that it would reset circadian rhythms.

Your suggestion makes me think about vitamin D as well. Something that lady Funk said one time got me thinking about vitamin D and then later VatAssassin said something similar. I try to bottle recently I've been taking it for about 2 weeks now I'm not sure if it made any particular difference or not but I kind of think it did.

given my complexion and latitude and the fact that I actually am out in the sun quite a bit if in a car that I probably wouldn't or shouldn't need it that badly.

Smooth with his complexion and latitude probably would be vitamin D deficient from what I've read on the subject.

I have no idea if what I'm taking is even efficacious. I'm taking 1000 units in a little gel pill that looks like vitamin E pills

Also smooth, it occurs to me that you were on a regimented schedule that was not of your choosing for a while. You had lights out when you had lights out and so on now that you have the freedom to be up whenever you want, you are probably rebelling a little bit against the regimented schedule you had before.

Vitamin D deficiency could be the problem. Funk is a big proponent of Vitamin D supplements. Got me to try them. I think they helped.

The crazy part is that I slept so much in there. Especially when I went to Delaney. But I wasn't in there long enough to be bothered by anything. I don't know.

I take d3 plus I am also supposed to get some sun in the morning, this is not easy. If iget too much I get sick, it's a tightrope.

Nah I go out around 2pm probably come back in the house around 1am.

Morning sun works better I am told. At my old place I could eat breakfast on the porch but new place has no porch and not much sun.

Looks like imma be woke anyway. I might walk to the store or something.

Try melatonin supplements.

Not a great long term solution, but can help to get you out of a bad sleep/wake cycle.

I write Smooth with plenty of Melanin. . .

Oh, wait.

You said melatonin.

Smoot, here's an idea, a temporary solution, but get comfortable on the couch, tune in the convention and try, try, try to listen to the speeches.

;)

I think you'll be out in no time.

Good luck, I am about to take my morning walk before the heat gets oppressive.

Yea I just walked to get a breakfast sandwich, and came in the house dripping from sweat. It looked like I poured water on my head.

Have a nice and safe walk Noor.
