Annalise Gerlach sat in her chamber contemplating what she should do. She had changes in her community . Herlong was murdering humans and changing alot more than she could imagine. He was a dying man saved by her ex husband Abbicus who changed after his first feed and went rouge and she had to stop him. To make matters worse she smelled a hunter.

She watched the man enter the he was tall aroumd 6'2 about 25-28 years of age and what scared her was that he looked strong. A soldier that could possibly get his kill. She was strong being an Pure blood but she could still be taken down by a punch especially from a strong human physique.

The funny thing about being a vampire was that humans couldn't sense them so they blended well but hunters were born to kill. It was their lineage.

Name - Duncan Winston
Physical features - height 6"2. Age 27. Brown hair short on the sides a bit longer on the top. Mix of green and blue eye color. Muscular body physique.

Duncan has been a part of a Special Ops military team for 4 years now. They dealt with things in secrecy so the general public would never learn of the dangers out there. Some of the objectives these missions were to stop terrorist attacks, assassination targets, hacking and Supernatural hunting.

Supernatural hunting was a big suprise to Duncan when he was first told, he always thought that vampires, werewolves, ghosts and various other creatures were just myths in old stories. But no they were most definitely real and he has killed alot of them now.

His current mission was to find a secluded vampire nest and exterminate them. Duncan had a team of five including himself. The info they had for this mission was that there had been humans disapperaing at night and scouting reports have shown potential vampires in the woods.

Duncan and his men hoped out of their jeep and geared themselves up with machetes and vials of dead mans blood that would knock a vampire. Duncan and his men spread out as they slowly made their way into the woods

Annalise sent a message to the changed who she accepted into the coven as her children. She trained them all and She made sure they were fed And the blood lust was controlled.

She saw the hunters spreading through the wood and she would try to lead them away from the wood as best as she could. She could see they were well armed but they were not a match for her. She openly walked down through the forest catching a few of the soldiers attention and saying " hi there boys"she wore a fitted red pencil dress with black lace and heels walking slowly toward them looking at about five putting suggestion into their minds once she was sure she had control of them she grinned and said "I want you boys to head back to base get a goodnights rest and forget this mission completely. Tell your captain that things will be handled.Nod if you understand "she saw the soldiers nod and grinned "Good now drop the weapons and leave." She smiled seeing them drop their things and she quickly gathered the firearms to keep and destroy the dead mans blood.

Duncan and his team knew how far to spread and to take their time so they don't miss spotting anything. They ventured into the woods slowly and stealthily.

Then from what Duncan could see he saw a women walking towards him . She said "Hi there boys" This was strange that a vampire would welcome them so bluntly.
When she went on to speak further he felt a scratching in the back of his mind urging him on to do what she was telling him and his men. She was telling them to put down their weapons and leave. Duncan looked to his sides and saw his men going, he was stunned that they would leave.

" Who are you?" Duncan asks her as he turns back to face her with his machete in hand

Annalise was stunned. How could this human resist her? She could tell he was stronger than the others and he still held the machete in his hand. She looked down at his hand then back at him. She decided to learn the mission and about the man while she was in his mind and said "Drop the weapons first Duncan I'm not looking for trouble and I obviously don't want to hurt you.. I just want to talk... "She said keeping a slight distance from him in case he wasn't chatty.
She sensed some of her "children"coming to off the man and told them not w that's not who they were.

Duncan heard her request about dropping his weapon and thought about trying to kill her. He looked at her seeing her face was calm and she didn't look like she was going to feast on him. Duncan felt another wave on pain inside his skull. "Ahhh, Get out of my head!" He groaned

Annalise felt bad doing this but the man was still a threat holding the weapoms."Drop them and I will stop as long as your holding the weapons I need to know what you are thinking and you thought about tryint to kill me. I need you to trust me im not the bad guy here ok and I really don't want to hurt you that is not what I do.Yes I am a vampire which im sure with your equipment you can tell I am but I am not dangerous and neither are my children. You were sent to kill me but you are seeking the wrong vampire."

Duncan wanted this excruciating pain inside his mind to stop. He listened to what this vampire told him. Going off half trust and wanting the pain to stop he laid down his machete on the ground. "There now please stop" he requested.

Annalise nodded stopping. " There now we can talk. Since I know some of you all but your age but ill say 27. Ill let you know about me somewhat. I am Annalise... I am an purebred vampire one of the oldest in fact. You are trespassing on a joint supernatural feeding zone between two covens. The vampire and the werewolf. Im sure that the wolves have caught your scent by now so we must talk quickly or ill have to take you out of here its dangerous here and those weapons wont do anything against the weres out here. Now I told you who and what I am you need to go "

Duncan listens to what Annalise informs about vampires and werewolves sharing this area. "I can't leave I don't know if your an innocent vampire or just telling me something false to let you off the hook, your coven may be the deadly one that has been abducting all these humans around here. You said I'm seeking the wrong vampire what did you mean by that?"

Annalise groaned in frustration that the man was not listening and her eyes widened seeing a were quickly running toward him from behind. " Run!" She shouted at the man. She sensed the were was rouge as well which meant is was feral.She punched the were sending it flying few feet and ran over grabbing quickly rubbing dirt all over him to mask his sent he might be miffed but he was lunch to the starving were and she had to get him out of there. He might be a hunter but she would feel terrible watching him get murdered. "LETS GO!"she shouted grabbing his hand and teleportin the weapons back to the coven. She quickly ran with him toward the fall and once she knew they were far enough away she stopped " belive me now? There are rouge creatures of our kind and they are not as good as I am...You came to kill me the leader right? You think I am turning people but it is not. Thatis why I said your seeking the wrong vampire"

Duncan is shocked when he sees the werewolf come out of nowhere but Annalise manages to fight it off. She then threw dirt all of Duncan which he assumed was to hide his smell from the werewolf, smart.

After running for a bit and not seeing the werewolf Annalise stops. " do you oppose these rouges of your kind then?"

" I dont disapprove of them i disapprove of what they are doing. I try to save as many as I can before they give into bloodlust and I even change them back if they wish me to and wipe their memory. No one of my coven feed directly from humans its either bagged or if they trul crave it we feed on animals in the forest without releasing venom and we give the weres the kill .

We do dont kill or kidnap humans and ive been trying to find who has been doing this."

" thats a commendable view for a vampire group" Duncan takes a look around the woods to see if he can spot anything after hearing something.

"Then we share a common goal don't we? To find and stop these rouges. We could help each other" Duncan generally didn't make alliances with vampires as he didn't trust them, but this one seemed different to others he has encountered

Annabelle stood silent for a while thinking about it and she knew that it would be foolish for her to let a hunter to her home and have access to her coven and people. It was not possible for her to change the rouge weres seeing that they have fed but she hadn't wanted to slaughter them.

She looked at Duncan trying to pry in his mind looking for his base location teleport him back. She wouldn't agree to slaughter her people especially after hunters nearly killed them all. She found the location in his mind and smirked saying"No deal Duncan" before focusing on his location and teleporting him there. Once she was sure he got there she said in his mind " Im sory human I cannot kill my own. We face trials and punishment we dont kill unless necessary. Goodbye Duncan"

Duncan looked around in disbelief. " What the FUCK!!" he shouted loudly realizing that he was back at his base camp. He was not happy with himself and thought about what to do. He would go back there. Not now but tomorrow.

So much for his trust for Annalise, if he ran into her again she would have to give him a damn good reason for him not to kill her. But for now Duncan will rest his head and come up with a plan

Annalise returned home to worried and concerned vamps and she told he she had things handled and not to worry. " I have combined bags of my blood and human blood in the lab so if you need desperately it will keep you fed for three weeks my children until then we are on lockdown. Three week lockdown. The woods are dangerous and we can well protect ourselves from rouges but I don't want to take chances of hunters finding our location. "

She headed upstairs wondering what she would do with Duncan. She knew hed be back he was stubborn and strong and she knew hed most likely be pissed and determined to kill her after the stunt she pulled but she couldn't let him hurt her children.

She rested for the night locking down the huge estate hidden in the forest which was over 200 years old which exterior looked abandoned but then inside was lavish tech savvy for young vamps and gorgeous.

The morning sun rose and so did Duncan. He redressed himself in his all black gear. He saw his fellow squad members in their bunks. He wondered if they even knew what happened to them. Duncan woke them all up and told them about last night previous events and his plan for today.

They geared up with once again machetes, dead mans blood and shot guns killed with silver casings for the werewolves. This time they would be prepared.

They rolled up to the woods in another jeep and made their way in. Quickly and quietly in a group. They finally saw a big building that looked old and abandoned with moss and plants covering most of its exterior. This had to be the Vampires place

Duncan told his men "kill any vamps on sight, don't let them get into your head at all and if you see the vampire from last night leave that bitch for me." The squad then made their move and got ready to breach the building

Annalise heard every move the humans made she had a surveillance system and she could see them approaching which sent her children into a panic. The scene beyond pissed Annalise off and what Duncan was doing angered her. She heard him demands and she told all of the vamps to head to the cellar.

She stood on her balcony quickly disabling half the soldiers weapons teleporting them into her room leaving them stunned and once she located the rest of the weapons she did the same. Their armory was increasing rapidly with he amount of weapons she had taken.

" What do you think your doing Duncan?" She said angrily into his head. He would not win this game and she did not want to kill him but if he forced her to she had to protect her family. This group was nothing to disable Annalise had been used in wars to disable armies amd protection of soldiers how else would the government know about vamps.

She was furious fuming about this and they men were confused as to what had happened.

As the Squad got closer to the building their weapons just vanished into thin air. " God damn it! " Duncan shouted. He saw Annalise appear up on the balcony. " What do I think I'm doing? I'm protecting the innocent people out there. The people that have had their loved ones taken away from them to never be seen again! You claim that you have had nothing to do with this but how can I trust after last night!?" Duncan paced back and forth as he said this, his eyes locked on Annalise

Annalise glared angrily at him sending his men back with freshly wiped minds and teleporting him to the balcony with her fuming. She was tempted to hurt him but kept her cool " Because I am doing what you say you claim to be doing Duncan for those humans! Im protecting my family! You humans feign innocence when you are the monsters! My people have fought wars for you people and protected them and after you wer done using us you slaughtered my people by covens. Millions of Vamls killed!" She said in his head shaking and tearing up" I am trying to keep humans safe as well Duncan but it is not MY COVEN! It is rouges! They are blood hungry and confused and smart! If I could track them I could handle them. Is it not enough my family has to hide in fear when going out or be afraid in their home. We want to live normally to but is ...!" She said holding the gun. " This is not fucking fair! You want to kill me and my so badly but have no real reason Accept we are "leeches" as you humans say. Your fucking pathetic" she said moving closely looking into his eyes " Do it! Fucking kill me! Will that make you sleep at night Duncan? Will that find and save those people? Or would that make you a rouge? A murderer as well?"

She felt her children crying out no when she told him to kill her and if he tried shed have to handle him.

He saw the pain in her eyes as she spoke. About the past and these rogue vampires. Duncan himself even felt a bit touched after her speech, it was.... surprising. She even said to kill her but he would not.

" Then help me. Help me track these rogue vampires that have been out there doing things to innocents. If you want peace for you kind here you need to do this. Take me up on this offer this time" Duncan pleaded to Annalise

Annalise moved away from him slightly in Anger and thinking about it. " I will help you track them Duncan but thats all. I will help you find the humans as well I have not smelled dead bodies so they are alive. The rouges most likely are using them to feed and entertainment they like hot fresh blood dead mans blood as you know will kill them. Once we find the humans you leave the vampires to me I will not let you kill them and I have proper punishment instilled. If you cannot agree to this then I'll wipe your memory thoroughly and leave you in a desert when I teleport you" she said folding her arms staring at him.

"Yes. Yes that will do" Duncan agreed to her terms and felt a weight off his shoulders for now. He offered out his hand to shake on their agreement. This was the first time he would actually work cooperatively with a vampire and he wasn't quite sure what he thought about that.

Annalise hesitated for a moment unsure if she could trust him. She slowly reached out shaking his hand. She moved hand back and looked at him and said"You need to leave now" still pissed with him transporting him back into his vehicle. She went inside planning to move the coven members to their emergency home innthe mountains until she waa sure they were safe.
