The scenario in my head would be elevator pitched as "loving wife blackmailed with photos of implied impropriety by husband at work."

A private investigator is hired by [insert fake company here] to track down someone who stole money/sold company secrets/something. Finds evidence that implies husband did it. PI has other evidence that shows it's not the husband, but PI is getting bored with the case and wants to collect his payout... unless the wife is willing to keep him entertained. Otherwise, sending compromising photos to the husband's bosses, thus getting him fired and/or arrested.
