I am looking for a story I have read here before. Set in a fantasy world, a woman is sold at a slave auction.
What I remember:
-The story starts right before the beginning of the auction.
-The main character might be named Helena, not sure if I am remembering this correctly
-There is another female slave, like an overseer, who is angry with the main character
-The main character was married to a soldier before her village gets attacked and she is captured. Her husband was off to war somewhere else
-In the auction a mercenary outbids everyone to buy her. He turns out to be her long lost husband
