First, I'm down on my knees to thank Laurel & Manu for creating this site! I am a 24 year old girl who's been searching for a site like this for ages!!! To this very day I haven't found another quite like it, and I'm still blown away EVERY day that you run it free of charge to all of us! A BIG hug and a pat on the back - I can't thank you enough!!! All I ever wanted was a site where I could sit back and read some decent erotic literature. The atmosphere here is extremely classy, comfy, and casual, yet wild and crazy story-wise! And pretty much everyone here seems open-minded, friendly, and most importnatly - mature!!! I am able to get high on the incredible contributions of the authors each day without being bombarded with pop up windows and credit card harassment. This site is SO E*X*T*R*A*O*R*D*I*N*A*R*Y in fact, it actually makes up for the countless hours I used to spend searching out a sexy-stories site that would allow me to experience what it had to offer without putting me through the embarrassment of defending & explaining the billing on our credit card. (Luckily, I've never gone through that and will never have to thanks to literotica.com!) I only just found this place a couple of weeks ago, but it's already to the point where I'm visitng 2 or 3 times a day! I LOVE the fact that you update daily, and also that there's so much respect among everyone for their effort, participation, and beliefs! I've yet to submit a story of my own. Hopefully one day I'll gather up enough guts to! There are so many talented writers out there already! My favorite stories of all-time are Sisters by Stephanie, the Dotti: The Family series by R. Neal, and My First Bisexual Experience by Sharon Likely. Some of my favorite authors include Sharlann, Kip Carson, and IndianAsian, though to be honest, I haven't read even a quarter of the selection of stories you have available and have yet to discover other stand-outs! You've put into words what I thought myself the first time my hubby pointed out the site to me. That was almost two months ago and I still haven't read them all....working on it though. Classy is a wonderful term for this site, because it has many stories that allow different approaches to erotic literature to be experienced. Now gather up your courage and submit some of your own. It's fun and it's a great release of your creative talents...I can't stop writing now that I've started and someone was generous enough to post them for me....it's led to meeting many nice new friends as well....Go for it girl...smile

At the risk of sounding corny, you are what makes this site what it is. Without the top-quality submissions, there'd be nothing to read. Without readers, there would be no point in posting stories. I'm grateful for the chat and the bulletin board, as they've enabled me to read more of you people than before. Our readers and writers are a high-class bunch, and I'm very proud to be associated with all of you.

On a not-so-happy note... there's about an 8-day backlog on the story posting right now. I'm doing my best to get caught up, but we've been receiving so many wonderful submissions (15-20+ a day) that I've fallen behind again. I appreciate all your patience and support, and I SWEAR I will catch up with the story flow IF IT'S THE LAST THING I EVER DO!!

I've always been amazed

By the quality of stories on this site, as a long-time reader and only recent contributor. It must be such a massive job reading through so many submissions and weeding out the dross... although not quite sure what's happened over in non-con with one story looking very much as if it was generated by a non-English speaking bot, but other than that, generally very high quality.

I love that this site gives so much exposure to authors and allows them to tie their work back to their personal sites. I love that it's free. I love how quickly stories go up... instant and editable might be preferable from an author POV, but without moderation this place would be a nightmare, so to have that human layer and still get things out so quickly is impressive. I love that it's open and moderated, and that there's a supportive community here (even though like any site there seems to be troll activity, but that's to be expected... it's the internet, innit?).

I'm glad you're making some of your investment back... have long thought with what a massive job this site must be, it had to turn a profit somehow to keep going!
