Sis the mad scientist

Years ago, a family's oldest daughter was taken from her parents and siblings by a shadowy group. A decade later, now in her 20s, daughter returns, looking no worse for wear, accompanied by a lot of people from the US government.

They explain that their daughter was rescued recently and assisted the government in taking down the very organization that kidnapped her. The US government has hired their daughter but as a condition of her employment, she wants to live back with her family.

Parents are stunned and siblings more so. Daughter seems really awkward around everyone but does seem to appreciate being back home. Parents start setting up family reunions and taking her on tours of the town so she can see how it's changed. She has a panic attack though and asks to get some space. She goes to her old room and makes a call. Seconds later, one of the men from before arrives carrying a laptop. He hands it to her and she seems to calm down, keeping her eyes on the screen but keeping up a conversation with them as she runs simulations.

Parents ask what she's working on and she states she's working on series of nanomachines that can be injected into a person to improve oxygen efficiency in the body. She then starts another for an improved artificial heart, then one for a hydrogen fusion plant...turns out she's quite the little scientist.

That night, her little brother comes up to talk to her. They bond though he of course asks, what the heck happened to her? She says she was doing science and her work was and is classified. He points out the work she was doing on her laptop and she shrugs.

"No, this stuff I can talk about...I was just relaxing with that."

She then switches topics to her brother. He got dumped recently and is feeling bad about it. She listens and then gives him a hug, saying she'll help. Brother walks away thanking her but doesn't see how she can.

Next day, he gets hit on by a woman who is gorgeous and has impressive measurements which she seems eager to show off. He's taken aback but she's able to put him at ease and they not only go on a date but wind up having sex the same day.

Afterwards, sis come in and asks him how he felt about the new girlfriend. He answers honestly until she suddenly asks, "did her vagina feel alright?"

Yep, turns out sis made a woman based on bro's porn browsing, reinforced her skeleton to support a bigger set of breasts and ass, used brain scans from mom and sister to create her behavioral patterns, increased her arousal and gave her predatory instincts and the ability to produce and control pheromones.

Brother Is horrified so sis pulls out a remote and offers to explode her creation's implanted bombs. Brother takes the remote away and tells sis it's fine. He loves the woman she made and would rather she not blow it up.

Satisfied, sis decides to help out her family and the rest of the neighborhood.

Tempting but I think it would be better if she was real and wanted to bond with her family, she just doesn't know how.

Although a future event could be one where sis apologizes to him and spends time getting to know him one on one. They bond, sis admits she's never had sex and is curious about it. Brother tells her that he'll take care of everything and that he loves her as he kisses her and works her bra off.

...then sis walks in, looking worse for wear, complaining about her rough work week. She says hi to brother and tells him to not ask her duplicate for a blowjob since it might revert to its base instinct. Brother looks back at the woman he was planning on making love to and sees it's sprouted a new set of teeth and has reptilian eyes.

Next morning: "how was her vagina? I thought of altering it. It decided to go with an exact copy of mine."

She's not really a 'mad' scientist unless she's working on some scheme for world domination. The sis you describe is more of a 'super' scientist. No, she needn't be a lab creation, but she may have enhanced herself. Nanobots replaced much of her skeletal structure with wired silicon so she's a computing machine. That enhancement provided her the cognitive edge to escape her kidnappers. Do we learn what that shadowy org did to her while they had her?

I was thinking more like a dr. Moreau or a scientist who just lacks things like ethics...but a world conqueror would be fun. My main point though would be to chronicle a person who is trying to do good for her family and neighborhood...but lacks the ability to pick up on subtleties or understand societal norms.Essentially, "I want X" she will get that person X.

For example:

"I want a baby."

Next day:

"Here you go. Got some marrow from you and you husband last night, combined the DNA and rapid grew it to healthy baby...no need to thank me."

I figure the organization took her since she was promising but then did everything they could do to make her artificially and behaviorally more intelligent. Following her training they gave her tasks to solve and then just kept giving her new tasks each day to complete so they could either create new products (including weapons), figure out strategies competitors/enemies would make, and perform attacks on other organizations. Eventually, they were so sure she was just another tool and failed to notice some of the things she was sending out or behavioral patterns she was writing into her creations. She turned the tables on them, either with the help of the US government or did it herself and then contacted the authorities. Of course, when she turned over a list of assets, she left quite a few safehouses unmentioned and several of her creations are in the wind.

One idea I had was that she actually has a whole host of xerox clones (copies of her as she is now) that she goes through quickly since they share memories so one dying isn't such a big deal. So she is with her family...but which one is with them or if the original is even alive anymore is unknown even to her.

Sharing memories is the tricky part. Are they linked with wireless brain-system interfaces? I suggested that she enhanced herself with nanobots rebuilding her body with advanced features like full-skeletal computation. (Silicon can structurally substitute for carbon.) Maybe each clone is rebuilt slightly differently so they all know who's who -- and the experiences of any (even death) are shared by all... as long as they're within WiFi range!
