“So this is it,” she thought to herself, “I’m at University!”
Andrea was proud of herself, finally achieving the aim of her whole life to this point. Not that it was any surprise, she achieved everything. She had good A level results, had got into her first choice University, had been captain of her school swimming team, they’d just held on to first place in the local schools swim league for their small district, and she hadn’t made County Swimmer because she didn’t want to. It was too much commitment. At least, that’s what she told herself and everyone else.
But hey, UNIVERSITY!
This week had flown by in a bit of a blur. Dropped off at her new lodging by Dad, him fussing a lot and checking security, telling her to keep her curtains always closed because you never knew who was watching from the houses opposite. Why do Dads fuss so much? Maybe because they lived so far away he didn’t think he was in easy reach of his little girl?
Then her introductions to University from the faculty and Student Union, her first lectures, stuff about school was easy but this is more challenging, needing to think, to be independent, to go beyond what we’ve known so far, blah blah blah.
Walking around at the Clubs Fair, she was amazed at the many sports and activities the Uni had to offer. She’d already turned down the Photography Club who almost begged her to be model for them. Yeah right! She caught a glimpse of herself in the reflection of a window and smiled, imagining herself as a model. She was too short probably, ok nice slim shape, boobs everyone notices but not big up top, yes a nice smile, pretty dark hair, and yes she was quite proud of her bum and legs. These stretch jeans showed them off nicely.
Andrea adjusted her pale blue v-neck sweater, letting it hug her figure, and wandered past the Football Club, the Hockey Club, to the Swim Club.
There was a nice looking man at the stall, and his direct stare made her blush a little and drop her eyes. But she came forward anyway, and picked up one of the leaflets from the desk.
