Can we get back to the OP's original intent?

So I take full blame for derailing this thread...well not full...JS started it!!!:D

I think when this thread was originally started, the idea was to have all the singles on LIT have a thread to meet and chat on. Instead it has morphed into an a/s/l personal. Maybe that is one of the reasons I went down the path I did. Just to gat some interaction.

So what do you say? any singles want to chat and have some fun?

Oh, well. Enough of that. As he said, start chatting everyone. Or else you'll have to put up with me, and I wouldn't wish that on anyone :D

hmmmm….no singles...maybe they have all found LIT lovers..have had LIT engagements or perhaps even LIT weddings..OR they must have found someone IRL

In some cases, probably. In many cases (my opinion), I think they're looking for just an afternoon or evening thing. Even singles, they're not looking to hook up with another person on Lit. They just want their quick virtual fuck and be off on their merry way.

I think that a lot of the connections and hookups that occur on Lit happen independent of the personals. People who interact in various threads, chatting or flirting or whatever. One person PMs the other, they respond, and if fate is with them, they hit it off. And neither may have never posted a personal, but they chanced upon one another and decided they liked one another.

That's the way I see it. Then again, I may be totally full of shit about this.

I think you are absolutely right. When this tread degenerated into an A/S/L thread, that is who got attracted. If this can turn into a real singles chat thread maybe relationships will develop over time whether platonic or sexual. Anyway that is what I am trying to go for here.
 
It’s good to have something to talk about; a relentless posting of vital stats doesn’t encourage conversation.

I’ve had a restful day; weather has not been conducive to going out. Had planned to go on a walk today but cancelled due to weather, there’s always time to walk out on the countryside.
 
We have also had our hottest day so far this year. The temp hit 80F 26.7C. The sun have been shining. I did some yardwork until it got too hot.

Hi Alicia. I think that global warming is taking its toll everywhere. We have far more heavy winds more frequently than ever before and they are causing an unusual amount of tree damage.

We have lots of sun here. Got outside and did what yardwork I could with this stupid boot. We have 3 days in the USA for Memorial Day although most of the people in retail still have to work because it is also a weekend for big sales!
