bad things happen in everyone 's life.
may be you should post an ad on personal threads it'll keep you occupied for a while..getting attention of all the males online lol
frankly speaking there is no advice to give,
there are lot dating websites around, so finding company online is not hard [for woman only lol]
and for real life....
just move on, life is long.. I'm sure you will find some one better!

Rebounding is a bad idea, sadly going to a bar and finding a cute guy to take home to bed isn't much better anymore, way to many nasty things running around now, diseases too. 
What you need to do now is simply find me time. No not Emap time but you time, remember what you really like doing that does not require a second person and go do it. Do things that you did not do with him, not saying don't eat out, just don't go to the same place you always went with him and such. Explore your city/town/village, go someplace new, try new places so on so forth. If you got enough cash free take a mini vacation, go visit your family in another state, go visit that great friend from college/high school that you don't see anymore but your always talking to anyway.
In other words, stay away from men, or women if you happen to want to go that way now and just remind yourself about you. In a couple weeks when you stop being sad that you are not a we anymore sign up for some of those personals sites, if your not ready to have a relationship but desperate for a hook up, sign up for one or more of those sex dating sites and then do alot of wading through tasteless come ons, or not if your not caring if he is cute or intelligent.
