Single dads being good dads, heck any one being a good dad regardless of parental marital status, gets me tingly.

Here is my idea which I have no concept of how to finish and don't think it would work as a SRP.

My friend who is in therapy can't drive because of the meds she's on, so I take her to her appointment once a month, and today when I was there, there was a dad with two children, and it came out that they were there because their mother died, and he was saying it was okay to cry, to grieve, and to tell the counselor what they wished they had said to their mother.

The idea is that my character, who is not there for mental health reasons, offers condolence, baked goods, phone number, etc and flirts with him

resulting in of course hot wild sex while the kids are with their grandparents, at summer camp, etc

Sounds like a nice conventional romance, so you'd have to put in the hard yards of character development. We need lots of interesting back story on these characters. Maybe he has some survivour guilt that she helps him past.

With a romance, a BUT is pretty much a given. You need to put something in their way. Maybe she is a novice taking her final vows as a nun- a life she turned to after her own personal tragedy.

Or (for some improbable Lit fun) maybe she is on community service when she meets him - she got busted on her first night hooking (to make ends meet) just as she picked up her first ever client. She only.later realizes that the Dad WAS that first ever client, and that she would have been his first ever prostitute.
