What's everybody's plan for the winter holiday?

Lunch with the inlaws? Presents at dawn? Sleep for a week?

i'm skipping one dinner with the inlaws. They always have at least two, for both Thanksgiving and Christmas, and i've decided that's too much. One for each holiday, thank you!

We did Thanksgiving with one side, so Christmas will be with the other. That's never actually on Christmas day, though, so we'll probably be doing presents at dawn the day of, then off to the mother- and father-in-laws' place for more presents. Ah, the gluttony.

The kids will be in the church play again. i just hope the building can stand my entering one more time.

Hopefully somebody will take pity on me and watch the kids long enough for me to celebrate a quick Yule ritual. i'd rather do it sometime before midnight this year.

I refuse to do christmas at my inlaws. Its a horrible present fest.

I'm flying my parents in from 1K miles away for the week here so the inlaws can't possibly expect us to go up

I am having a small relaxed christmas and trying to teach the little one that christmas is about family and giving and NOT getting.

I gather the tradition used to be to open presents the day after Christmas. So as not to piss The Lord off by being merry on his day.

Since most presents came in boxes, Boxing Day.
