seems someone pointed this out and now it's being addressed, after having shared this misinformation with some 9,000 soldiers during training via power point/manuals
just some of the names included in the power point presentations included People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA), Operation Rescue, National Right to Life, Earth First, Earth Liberation Front, and Animal Liberation Front.
2017
now who do you suppose is responsible for this being allowed to happen? what culture allowed it? did the people preparing the information not know how to do their jobs (we saw a lot of that) or was it deliberate because someone higher up wanted those names included?
what a cock-up
the army is reveiwing all of its training material to root out any further misinformation.

"Incorrectly labeling legitimate organizations as terrorist groups not only undermines the credibility of the training, but also puts service members at risk of being unfairly scrutinized or penalized based on their associations or memberships."
Kim said: "We must be cautious and purposeful in how we define and identify threats to our national security."
According to Agnes Gereben Schaefer, the assistant secretary of the Army, the slides have been shared since at least 2017 with over 9,000 soldiers.
