Simply Silliness (An open add on challenge)

Simply Silliness

Whimsical words awhirl in flight
Slippery troves of visual delight
A seed of silliness for all to see
Starts spreading waves of frippery

Dancing damsel dervishes
Tuxedoed lover flourishes
Joined in whirls and twirls and spins
Smiles bubbling from deep within

Wonder what could happen now?
Perhaps a moon meets up with cow?
Light-footed leaps with laughter gay
Over green cheese mountains far away

Will you join this fun and frolic?
It’s a sure cure for angst and colic!
Just try a verse, I know you yearn
To join the fun, so take a turn!

Simply create a silly verse (or multiple verses) of 4 lines, where the first 2 and last 2 lines rhyme with each other.

short but, will keep the thread from being dead....

*a sticky web shaken and stirred
tugging and pulling and kicking the curb
bubbled smiles wishing and grinning
watching the dance floor slowing spinning

that's the spirit, jump right in
the jester cried with a silly grin.
toomfoolery, silliness, giggle, guffaw
I wonder who next will hear the call?

How about me, though I'm not good at this,
I know you just want to give me a miss,
But think clearly a moment, 'cos really you know
That one day I'll get better, thus a Poet will grow.

this looks like fun, can i be a poet?
In all this time you'd never know it
but even a scatter brained blonde like me
can ryhyme two lines, or was it three?

Maybe you should dye your hair
I rhyme in jest so don't despair
but if your hair was red like me
maybe you could count past three

Hear the call that came from afar....
But, what was it you said Zanzibar?
Words are many, to many to rhyme
So maybe I'll try again, another time!

This could be fun; let's keep it going.
Make sure to count to keep them flowing.
I refuse to stumble over words
'cause my little brain hurts afterwards.

2 rite sum silly frilly shit
is perfect 4 dis silly git,
no good 2 try 2 dig 2 deep
4 tipsy trixters short on sleep

Would you trip the light fantasitic with a flagellating frog?
Or discourse on religion with a dialectic dog?
What about the wango tango with a girl named Loopdeeloo?
I have to tell you frankly, I'm not sure what I would do!

Get out of here and get some sleep.
I don't think you'll be counting sheep.
You made me laugh, and it's all good
because your counts were like they should.

twist your tongue with wordy stumpers
like rubber baby buggy bumpers
one hen, two ducks, three squawking geese...
how about some more of these?

I do not like a twisted tongue,
but do admit that this is fun.
Animals, I love, yes, it's true.
I only hate to clean up poo.

A twisted tongue can be quite fun
depending where the twisting's done
do not bother with my ear
just go stick it in my rear

I fancy we're all a little twisted
as each has been enlisted
with silly qualms and quirks
sharing another of our perks...

hippity hoppity bippity boo!
I've cast the silly spell on you
as twisted silly poem seedlings grow
where will they sprout, I need to know!

A novice here to take a spin
At flipping words to get a grin
Words are plenty but time is short
So here I'll end this quick retort

Welcome novice to this land
of aspiring writers, pen in hand
don't be afraid to fling your wit
come join us in the writing pit

Oh, this is cute and even cool
I almost feel I'm back in school
Just be silly and play this game
Let's rhyme some words and have no shame.

Amidst all this fun and frippery
I oiled a rag quite slippery
then stroked my sword till it grew and shone
I will not throw a dog THIS bone

You put my mind in the gutter
since you're greased, you need no butter,
but between my legs, it's quite the same;
Inject your sword, and scream my name.

meow....

cute little doggies like to eat them bones
kittens like to lick them like an icecream cone
felines are furry and like to be stroked
but , only a tigeress needs to be coaxed....

I like to purr but often bite.
Lick then stick it, and do it right.
My claws are long, you like your dong;
sex me up, and don't do it wrong.

To sheathe my sword, I hear your call
and I shall truly do my all
but if that satisfies not your whim
perhaps a touch of tongue to quim

A slippery tongue's a lot of fun
I surely love it in my bun
Just like a hot dog needs a roll
My promise is you'll get my hole.

:D
