ooc: This is closed for Pooh and myself.. A little simple fun.
Beth, 19 y/o. Blonde hair, blue eyes, medium height. Curvy, cute and a big flirt.
IC:
They had come to Florida for spring break. So far everything was going smoothly until her two room mates decided to start betting at pool. Sitting on the table, legs swinging she sipped her coke and flirted with the guys that caught her interest. She had lost interest in the game after Tony and Bill bet game after game. She had lost count how many times they had lost but they kept on betting.
One guy had kept her attention all night. Seated alone and busy with some papers he didn't talk to many and only glanced her way briefly. He was cute, unmarried (no ring on his finger) but otherwise not interested in staring at her so far.
She was dating Bill now for a few months, with the three of them living in the same house it was bound to happen, but things had gotten boring lately. More often than not Bill was getting on her nerves.
Tonight was no exception.
"What do you mean we're broke Billy?" she stared at him a moment in utter disbelief.
"We have no cash left.."
"But we need to get home you dolt!" She rolled her eyes and then drank some of her coke. Thinking it over, she noticed Tony offering a game to the stranger she had been staring at all night. "Call your dad Billy.."
He argued over that with her for a few seconds before Tony said they had another 'sucker' on the line. This one apparently was rich enough for their taste and could finance their return home.
"What did you offer him?" Billy asked Tony quietly. Tony didn't speak up, he merely looked up at Beth and grinned.
"Oh no, you didn't?" She was too stunned to speak. Peeking over Tony's shoulder she spied the guy, same guy with the papers and no ring staring right back at her. She felt butterflies in her stomach and looked back between Bill and Tony.
"How much?" Why did she ask that?! She cursed herself for being stupid, but he was cute! And she'd be lying to herself if she said she didn't like the idea..
"You can't bet Beth.." The guys talked it over for all of two seconds (boy was that flattering) before agreeing they couldn't lose. Hell this guy looked like he didn't know which end of the cue stick was which!
Tony and Bill did their typical *paper-rock-scissors* to see who would play this guy. Bill won and kissed Beth hard for a second, assuring her that he would win and make it up to her. She merely smiled and nodded her head, appearing to have total confidence in him. She adjusted her skirt and resumed sipping her coke, her eyes scanning over the stranger with a new interest.
Tony didn't elaborate the bet, nor what was going on, so certain they'd win against this 'paper-pusher'.. She hoped they'd win and then again was reluctant to cheer them on too. The Stranger was cute..
She stared at him the entire game, watching his face and smoothe shots. Bill's face began to fall and Tony swore often under his breath for the duration of the game but when push came to shove, the paper pusher skunked their asses.
Trembling, she slid off the edge of the table, watching the guy for a moment as he put the cue stick away.
"Well.." Tony was red faced with guilt and Bill was angry but silent. Beth looked back and forth between the two of them her question lingering in the air.
"He gets you for the weekend. A date thing, but there is nothing expected Beth.. Just companionship."
"bullshit!" Bill said under his breath.
"Well a bet is a bet." She was a little stunned but expected this to happen. Should she be insulted or flattered this guy was willing to give up cash and take her? A prostitute is what rang in her ears, but Tony assured her already she was under no obligation to do more than keep this guy company... So be it! They'd have to wait for a money transfer anyway and they couldn't get it until monday..
Sighing, she smiled and moved towards the table. Holding the cue ball in her hand she eyed the guy. "I hear congrats are in order and I am your prize... My name is Beth, yours?" She would make the best of this and hope he wasn't some psycho killer type.
