Simple Request

Hello everybody i have a simple request and it would mean alot if someone felt the need to take it up. Anyhow i would really like to see an fantasy story..but not any ol'fantasy story. I'm looking for a story much like ( to name afew ) Lord Of The Rings, Any David Eddings Book. You know the sort filled with monsters & magic, creepy dungeons and fair madins to be saved and of course something to quicken the tempo. Well anyone intrested please reply to this post , i have afew ideas i'ed like to throw at ya.

Well I'll Might As Well...

Well i might as well throw some ideas out there maybe this might inspire somebody. It's really just a basic idea aswell as the names i guess you could change what every you want to better suit your story. As for me i'm not all that good at writing storys otherwise i would take a stab at it.

There is a horrable curse in the lands of Locshare. A lone vagabon named Cyan is the kingdoms last hope. Sent on a quest by the king himself Cyan must collect 3 magical artifacts to construct an mystic weapon of the ages in order to defeat the evil archmage Leshrac. He sets out on this quest and run into meny battles with all sorts of evil monsters. Along the way he meets up with a few other characters ( could be anybody ) to aid him in his quest aswell as a beautifull elven girl named Tess. He soon falls in love with her. The group finally comes across one of the magic artifacts after a horrable battle with its keeper. Soon thay find out that Tess is a princess and decided to take her back but just as thay were about to she was captured by Leshracs henchmen and taken back to his keep. so the gruop now must collect the remaining artifacts and then save the princess from the cluches of the evil mage. ( im pretty sure you get the idea by now )

I dont think its a simple request, i think it would take quite a bit of effort and thought to make it realistic.

MrFrost, you seem to have a good mind for weaving his tale. Maybe you ought to try it yourself, at least you have an outline going. Elaborate on it a little bit, try writing a couple of scenes and figuring out how erotica could be worked in. If you want a story like this, there're most likely at least a few others out there that would be willing to read yours. Just be sure to get a good editor for spelling, don't make any unnecessary mistakes.

If you wrote one and other people liked it, it might start to spark idea's in their head for similar stories that YOU could read later = ) sometimes you've just got to take the first step.

I just started

thank you chicklet i have decided to start writing the story i figured i'ed do it in 3 or so parts.. i took a jap at writing just before i posted this and i didnt think it would do as good as i did. i was surprised that people voted for my story so with that and chicklets lovely words i figured why not. The first part should be done in a week or so i want to take my time with this one.

If I may ask...

Why is it that a "grown up" Hary Potter tale (personally I don't care for this one myself...I never saw the movie or read the books) is "bad", but a Lord of the Rings tale (I personally don't see anything erotic in this story, though the movie was good) is "good"? Because Lord of the Rings was requested by YOU and Harry Potter was not?

Hmmm...not to put words in mrfrost's mouth but I think he was speaking more on a serious fantasy note, rather than a lord of the rings take off...but as for why it would be more acceptable, I don't really think it would be. Personally I don't like to see characters that I have read about in innocent stories romping about with wenches and such, but, then, I'm not in to celebrity stuff either. Harry Potter, though...<sniff> he's just such a cutie! On an unrelated note, the actor in the movie looked exactly like my boyfriend at that age, creepy stuff!

My story isent a lord of the rings take off its based of a role playing game that i use to play and most of you wouldent even know what it would be so it really wouldent matter now would it. and chicklett is right its not all that erotic to see charaters we know and love run around get get freak nasty with each other expecially HARRY POTTER hes just a damn kid and if thats your prefrence then thats fine with me but its not mine and i have a right to say so. i dont know why you would even get upset at something like that im sure that you have seen something on this site or forum before that you disagreed with havent you ? Anyhow im sorry if anything i have said about harry potter and his friends have had upset you.

I fuckin' defended the "right" for a Lord of the Rings or "similar" story to be "allowed" at Lit, as well as a Harry Potter SPIN OFF of ADULT characters. Like I said, REread posts before you ASSume anything of another person.
