Just for fun.

Remember your old English lessons about similes and metaphors.

Well let's start a story. Each person must submit one sentence or phrase and that submission must be a simile or metaphor.

It was as hot as a frying pan.

The promise of a storm hung in the air like yesterday's cigar smoke.

before she could bat an eye the sky opened, rain fell like holy tears sent to baptize the earth.

her feet slapped the pavement, and she sounded like a round of applause as she made her way down the wet road.

The crowds shifted, parted as she ran past, a speedboat in three-inch heels thrusting through the wave of humanity.

Sheets of water snapped in the wind, blanketing the path as if puddles of silk had fallen from the sky.

Bianca reached the relative shelter of an awning, crowding in with the others already there like horses huddled in winter.

***"speedboat in three-inch-heels" :D I like that!

One of the men in the crowd couldn't help noticing Bianca's breasts, sealed in her wet blouse like fruit wrapped in plastic.

Bianca noticed the man eyeing her like she was the last oasis, before he had to face the unrelenting desert.

She stared him dead in the eye, like a gunfighter at high noon.

she exudes a raw sensuality, secretly wanting to draw attention to herself like a rare oil painting in a museum.

"Help you?" The words came out of her mouth, curt and clipped, like the crack of a whip.

The man tried to reply, but his tongue wouldn't move. His mouth was as dry as the desert he was trying to escape.

He took in her beauty, staring, opened mouthed, like a child in a candy store.

and yet, the buldge in his pants spoke volumes like that of a dirty politician...

She stared at him. He was pinned, lost, helpless, a butterfly on the corkboard, transfixed by a megawatt gaze designed to sear his soul.

In his mind he heard his mother saying, "If it's too hot, get out of the kitchen." and this girl was definately too hot to handle.

But his heart was beating like trip hammer, his thoughts became a blazing fire of lust.

She stepped closer to him, and his head swam with her perfume, a heady kaleidoscopic whirlwind of sensation.

But before he could speak thunder shot through the air like a gunshot at night
