How do i stop from getting automatically subscribed to any thread i post in?

As much as i'd like to get updates on replies, i get enough spam in my mailbox that it isn't feasible. I'll post, leave for half the day, and come back with 20 new things

Any help is appreciated.

go to private messages and unsubscribe and when u post a message uncheck send email at bottum

How do i stop from getting automatically subscribed to any thread i post in?

Click the Search button underneath your post -- NOT the search button at the top of the page -- to get a list of all your posts.

Open each post and clear the check box next to "Email Notification: ..." in each one.

Then go to the UserCP button at top center of each BB page and find your way to "edit options" where you'll find a check box next to "E-mail notification by default" which needs to be cleared as well -- don't forget to "submit changes" so it takes effect.
