Signature Question

I would think so.

Edited, I misread your post. Sorry. I'm not sure how to do that.

If you want to put that in your sig, then...

Visit This Site

Ok... do like you are doing a reply and copy the whole URL thing to notepad, wordpad, word or someplace. Then replace "Visit This Site" with whatever you want it to say. Then you can copy and paste that to your sig line.

The problem is, the address is quite long so windows inserts an elipissis (...) in the middle of it. That makes it an invalide address. You have to use the entire address from the site.

Hope that helps.

Is there any way possible to use this in my signature. It gives links/instructions to add it to a web page. I tried doing it, but it didn't work. Is it me (probably) or can I not use it in a signature.

From your link:
Technical Details: Basically, you need to include the cost of war ********** (j.a.v.a.s.c.r.i.p.t) and an element with an id of 'raw'.

You'll note that Lit censors the word j.a.v.a.s.c.r.i.p.t in the explantion I quoted. That's because in the past, before they added that word to the censorship list, several people used JS maliciously in their signatures.

The bottom line is that what you want to do is not permitted for security reasons engendered by past abuses of llowing HTML and JS in signatures.

Okay, thanks for the explanation.
I knew there was some other reason that it wasn't working,
other than that I didn't know what I was doing. ;)

Sorry to bump an old thread.

But I am trying to figure out how to make the text in my signature a clickable link. I know how to use basic HTML and the HREF command, but the forum says "HTML Off" and every thing I've tried and the BB code stuff that I have found has not worked.

Sorry to be a noob, but I have searched and cannot find the right commands to do what I want. Any help is appreciated.

There are detailed instructions on this kind of stuff in our FAQ sticky (plus, it's a good thing to check out to get the lay of the land should you have a question that it covers in the future :) ), but the basic procedure is to copy the URL you want, type the text you want in your post/sig, highlight it, click the
createlink.gif
icon, paste the URL into the box, click OK, then preview to make sure it works OK before submitting it.

After you have your text link working, you can change its font by highlighting the text that's supposed to appear and clicking the font option links at the top of the text box, one by one (you want any font tags to be nested within the [/URL*] tags). Again, preview to ma...="http://forum.literotica.com/faq.php"]vB FAQ (link near the top of each page).

Sweet. I was looking for the solution to this. Thank you!
