He's a cool dude. Too bad people like him aren't in charge. Problem is, he makes too much sense...he's logical. People don't want logic...or the truth...they want somebody who'll blow sunshine up their ass and tell them "Elect me and you'll get everything you want or need." Then they can be content to take their kid to soccer practice and go to the big game on Sunday. :rolleyes:
 
All right, we preserve dying languages and store them in, what the hell Mason jars. Now what? There has to be some benefit, or it's a waste of money.

Why not extract the advantages of dying languages and preserve only the good parts? Most of the dying languages are agglutinative. They don't even have the structure of modern Indo-European languages. However, there are probably some things in dying languages that could add value to modern Indo-European languages. Preserve, through usage, the good parts and let the other parts die. JMNTHO.
