Since I was first to vote, you may have to conside that in the "margins for error" as it could influence a slant "just because"...LOL.
 
Poppy. I dont think this will get ten votes in ten days. I wouldn't worry about your influence.
 
Sig lines don't bother me at all. Like the av's real or fake they are there and a matter of choice.

The "BS" of sig lines have been going on since I started on Lit and I can't believe it is still an issue.

While I have found many sig lines to be rather annoying, I choose to leave the option on. Many people who write stories for Lit offer a link to their writings in their sigs. It's a good way of knowing who, on the BB, is an author here and who is not. :)
 
Pure aesthetic purpose for me.

Sometimes people's sigs are more interesting than their postings...and more meaningful

Actually, I didn't realize you had posted this on The Playground...I don't have any influence here...LOL. I thought this was a GB thread!

The Playground (as a group) has it's own interests as well...may have nothing to do with you. Perhaps they look at this thread title and wonder: Most of us LOVE huge, colorful sigs over here (as can be seen in all the threads)...why would he even ask that?

Some individuals, such as myself, like some of the different things The GB has to offer, too...and it's nice to be able to participate in them without harrassment. It's been better as of late. There's still a group that thinks it's cute by demanding all newcomers to "show us your bits" which is like annoying but if that's the worst of it...eh, who cares!

Mine are on... I like sigs, some are funny, some are quite artistic with the pics they use, most give an insight into the person behind the name and av

It's not being a paranoid snob...it's simply that they know how to "Not Feed the Trolls". When I'm over on the GB arguing too much and come back, I get ignored more here. I think it's their way of keeping the place pretty troll free. For the most part, PG posters just won't even start into it. Drama comes through roleplays and occasionally via lovers scorned/dumped. It's mostly all about sex, lurve, creativity and humor here...Also people have their cliques but more often these are open to newcomers...or at least tolerant of them.

LittleLady...I just have to say that I think that model in your sig line is one of the handsomest men I've ever scene...like a Tom Cruise "Improved" - stronger facial features (jaw, chin, coloring), a "huskier muskier expression" (swoons), he's not whining and.....oh....just gorgeous! Thanks for the eye candy! :devil:

Anytime. :) Right now mine reflects spring, but I may have to redo the colors. The yellow looks bad and the lemon chiffon didn't show up well.
 
On... *chuckles* If I'm THAT offended by a sig, I'll put them on ignore. :D
